around here, a whole lot of people are wondering if trump’s bodyguards will get laid off with the rest of the thousands of government workers who will loose their jobs today

Between the shut down, the indictments, the Mattis resignation, the Trump Foundation shuttering, the troop withdrawal announcements fracturing the GOP, tanking stock market, and just the endless stream of bullshit, this feels like the end game. The Senate GOPers are amazingly feckless, but in spite of my better judgement I still hold out some hope that they too will have had enough. The Democratic House can’t be seated soon enough.

The GOP Senators consist of different kinds of “they”.

Individual one is a very sick, twisted person that really does need serious psychological therapy if it weren’t too late for that. The most urgent need for our country is to get him out of office by whatever means it takes. He is dangerous, getting more so and he has been there long enough for us to see he doesn’t have a clue how to do this job.

If we impeached Rush,Ann,Pootie, and took Fox of the air would Trump be able to think?

We can thank right wing media for this chaos in part. … but it takes trump to abandon allies on the battlefield. That is cowardice.
And I hope the GOP takes notice of trump’s erratic behavior and the existential threat he poses to our continued existence. I am thinking of the fact that now with Mattis gone trump will find a compliant dupe who will let him nuke someone thereby ending it all.
The only sensible course of action (and I don’t like it particularly) is impeachment/.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

I know tech better than anyone…

Here we go again with this clown.

I would like to see the Dems put together a sub-budget with items such as a new scanning system for crossing points, electronic monitoring and the like and share it with the American people. You know, stuff that works, unlike his wall.

They won’t be paid, but they’ll be forced to work as essential personnel.

I bet this weekend’s events will set-up the Senate for Mitt Romney to plunge knife, ala Brutus, into trump’s treachery…et tu Brute…I’d like to ask Mr. Romney what he thinks…

Of course walls work. The Chinese built a huge wall to keep out the Mongols. That’s why the dynasty that ruled China from the Middle Ages until 1912 was known as the Mongol Dynasty. The wall’s still there, but it didn’t keep the Mongols out of China.

So… if the government is “shut down”, what does and what does not operate? And who makes the rules - or who controls the remaining aspects?

Can Trump engage in opperationational luddite behaviour during an extended shutdown?

We could be in weird uncharted waters

Strong, smart, very stable (or big) deal-maker. God, I will laugh my fucking ass off if a supermajority veto-proof CR goes through in mid-January or something.

They’re co-conspirators, hanging on by their fingernails. Hoping in 2019 for a new installment in the Purge series, “Congress Gets Theirs”.

Shorter Trump: President Ann Coulter is pissed.
