The reader would do well to note that these fartbursts never come on their own. They are always a part of a self-referential derp-parade of doubling down. As the dotard likes the sound of his voice but, as he sees people nod or clap, he realizes he should keep saying it, saying it harder, saying it bigger, saying it ten times harder than Crooked Hillary would.

"You should stand for the anthem" | okay, agree to disagree, but that’s not an outright ludicrous opinion
"You have to stand for the anthem or you shouldn’t even play that day" | um, that’s really the NFL’s call, or the owner’s, or the player’s, or the NFLPA’s, or some combination of the four, but definitely not yours
"If you don’t stand for the anthem, you should get banned from the league" | as above, but much biglier
" If you don’t stand for the anthem you shouldn’t be in the country" | say whaaaaat

These words are troubling on their own, but they’re not a Trump-fascism clarion call. He’s already mostly forgotten he said them.

On a more serious note, how is it that the NFL thinks they can get away with penalizing their employees, professional athletes, for not standing for the Anthem? Labor lawyers will be all over this.
Trump poisons everything and everyone within his reach. And yes, even tweet-reachable global victims, with the South Korean president Moon being the latest victim.
Can’t wait for Trump to accidentally drop a certain name today, that nasty Deep State ‘informant’.

Latest I read players have two options; either stay in the locker room (or in the tunnel) during the playing of the anthem, or, if they’re on the field, they must stand during the anthem. If they don’t they will be penalized. Not sure what the penalty might be? Thinking ten lashes or, if it’s the SB, facing a firing squad at halftime.
And he stoically avoided being a loser POW by not being captured in combat.
