He is a monster, a bully and a liar; what kind of qualifications are those for the highest political office in this land? BTW, he ain’t gonna win, even if he does snag the GOP nom. Well, no, of course not. When they’re Christians, they’re aberrations – only when they’re Muslim is it systemic and connected with their religion… Which is why we don’t need a database of Christians, aberrations or otherwise.

It was yesterday (seems like an age ago) that @Sooner posted an image of boots. It was in reference to boots on the ground in the mid east and who would be sent. I think it dovetails with this post of yours. My dad served in the Pacific Theater on an escort carrier. Look up the battle history of the Anzio (CVG 57) to get a taste as to what he survived as a torpedo plane pilot. I had a hard time to get him to talk about those years. And he exhibited symptoms of PTSD although that was something that entered the public mind after he died. If I tried to sneak up the stairs after being out late as a 17-18 yr old he’d hit the floor out of bed yelling about his plane and the Japanese and only barely be awake. He kept his Navy issue .45 next to his bed all thru my early childhood.

applauding the police officers involved in rescuing the victims and

Oh, I’d think it’s already pretty well established that mass killing will be a central policy initiative of his administration.
ISIS are sophisticated enough to know they can and should try to influence the 2016 elections in behalf of a candidate like Trump who will do untold damage to us. They will try to queer the election in his behalf.

What Trump would offer is a State of War. Make no mistake. We are talking a variety of scenarios…but belligerence seems to be the common word.
With a moribund age-cohort of 19-26 year olds who cannot even imagine life with a Military Draft, their distinguishing characteristic is that their ignorance of the idea of “U.S, citizens are required to fight its wars” (a concept embodied in the Military Draft) is greater than that of their immediate elders who also have no emotional experience with the concept (being younger than age 60).
The stage is thus set for a more willing acceptance of warmongering rhetoric. The kids don’t really have to fight do they? Their immediate elders are also spared critical self-evaluation of just what “war” means, when all citizens are LIABLE to Serve (instead of “outsourcing” it to Volunteers).
So we have the ridiculously absurd scenario of a man who would wish to act beliigerently toward the entire Islamic World…a region of billions stretching from Morocco to Afghanistan to Indonesia.
And become POPULAR by doing this!?!?
