I am not a journalist. But I can sit and watch an interview live and think of follow ups that scream to be asked, such as the one you just suggested. And they don’t get asked. I don’t undersatand it. There are journos out there with degrees from very prestigious journalism programs, like Columbia. followed by decades of experience interviewing very important people. And they get these crap replies to questions and they’re left laying there, flopping on the dock like a dying fish. It’s maddening. I’ve watched Trump bragging about his education in interviews, and not once have I seen a journalist stop the interview, dead cold, and ask “Mr. President, you constantly brag about your peformance in college, yet you refuse to release your transcripts. If you’re so proud of your education, and of the grades you received, why do you refuse to release your college transcripts?”
