It’s always interesting stuff, this abnormal psych. I don’t know much about Jobs’ biography, and really only the basics on Rasputin. I do know Trump isn’t the ordinary con artist, a manipulative person who’s still grounded in our common reality him- or herself. He’s severely mentally ill in a way a mostly manipulative person (“Machiavellian,” the psych books say) really isn’t. The con artists bamboozle their victims. But Trump’s greatest victim, the one person forever bamboozled, is always himself. It’s really the opposite of a con—usually everyone sees through it but the person actually running the game. I’ll bet every single couple at that dinner looked at each other and rolled their eyes when Trump said it would be “easy” to do that deal.

There might be opportunity here for the Dems to work with enough moderate R’s to propose a bill to fix some of the short-comings of the ACA. Donnie is so consumed with victories that he’d probably sign anything put in front of him. It would allow for some bipartisan ownership of the program, which may be what is needed to make it really succeed.
Instead of reacting to every BS nonsensical thing this grifter says, would you please just lump all his comments together at the end of week under one article and let it speak for itself.
I’m through with jumping every time Trump says, “look at me.” I’d rather spend my time reading and considering serious journalistic articles and investigative reports.
