The poll, which involved 897 likely Republican primary voters who were contacted Sunday and Monday, revealed significant support for banning homosexuals from the country (20 percent in favor), shutting down U.S. mosques (29 percent), creating a national database of Muslims (47 percent), banning Islam (25 percent), and allowing South Carolina to hang the Confederate flag on the state capitol grounds in Columbia (54 percent).
This is why Republican candidates say such vile, nasty things. Because their base is equally repugnant.
In fact, I would argue it’s the base leading the way…and the candidates following.
There is simply no one with stature, class, or dignity in that party that can preach the truth to hate. Truly a sad state of affairs.

The greatest feeling will be in a few months (or FSM help us, November) when Trump loses. “Winning” is everything to him. I will gladly dance on his grave when that day comes, but I’m really looking forward to him losing his run for Presidency because forever onward to his last day on earth, Donald Trump Will Be A Loser™.

I am beginning to find myself unable to dissuade others leave aside myself of the possibility that Donald Trump is reckless and untrustworthy with any public platform, consciously routinely works to incite white nationalism, and promotes violence against anyone who is not of Aryan extraction.
This brings to mind disturbing historical figures.

Where is this doofus goon squad called the FBI when we have racists inciting violence nationwide? Remember the jackass assassin who killed folks recently screaming " … no more baby parts for sale"? That was Fiorina, also inciting to violence. The FBI isn’t doing its job anymore, except in rare circumstances like Malheur Wildlife Preserve when the entire world is watching. We can expect another such massacre courtesy of this Republican maniac. Even then, the maniac will cheer, I’m sure, when he incites others to take out Muslims wherever you can find them. That is the GOP, folks. This maniacal scum could be your president! What then … I ask all responsible Americans. The world is watching, laughing, puking, disgusted at this horrible racist fascist regime flowering in North America. Beware. It’s only beginning, I’m afraid, if history is any teacher and lesson for us. I hope to see the FBI hauling Trump away in handcuffs, indicted for racist incitement to violence, or whatever, the leading GOP candidate for president. That is the image the world wants to see, to restore any confidence that this nation hasn’t gone totally rogue (already way down that road with No Rule of Law anymore - domestically and internationally).

I agree! It has been clear virtually since he declared his candidacy that he is using the same techniques that Hitler and his gang used, only instead of blaming all our troubles on the Jews, gypsies, and gays Trump blames Mexicans and other “illegals,” Muslims, the press and what he alleges to be an incompetent incumbent government.
As we have seen in the past, this kind of propagandizing can be very effective on a frustrated and angry contingent of a population with potentially disastrous effects. The problem with stirring up a firestorm of opinion is that many people may get seriously burned.

Most days, Trump is simply a demagogue who loves applause. The dark side of him also seems to fantasize about revenge.
I cannot visualize Trump doing high stakes negotiations for the United States without intruding with his own intentions and gripes. I’m afraid a Donald Trump presidency would make Richard Nixon look normal.
In a rational world divine intervention would (should) have happened back in July when he disparaged Mexicans as rapists and drug dealers. Trump should have been reduced to political cinders long ago. Consider what happened to Barry Goldwater after one poorly thought out comment about “extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice”. The result was a landslide for LBJ in 1964. How much more has Trump committed?

The Indian Rebellion of 1857 had diverse political, economic, military, religious and social causes.
The sepoys, a generic term used for native Indian soldiers of the Bengal Army, had their own list of grievances against the British East Indian Company (BEIC) administration, caused mainly by the ethnic gulf between the European officers and their Indian troops. The spark that led to a mutiny in several sepoy companies was the issue of new gunpowder cartridges for the Enfield rifle in February, 1857. British officers insisted that the new cartridges be used by both Muslim and Hindu soldiers under their command, despite the widespread belief that the cartridges contained cow or pig fat. Loading the Enfield required tearing open the greased cartridge with one’s teeth. This insulted both Hindu and Muslim religious practices.

Islam is far more than a mere “religion.” It is a way of government, of society, of conforming to the orders of imams and others whose lust for power compels them to lord over all people. Islam basically means “submission.” Islam is ALIEN TO WESTERN WAYS and must not be allowed to infest the USA.
