Discussion: Trump Team Reacts To Celebratory Nazi Salutes: We 'Denounce Racism'

racism and fascism are not the same thing. both suck, but the fact that he doesn’t seem to know the difference says a lot. what a dufus.

It was a blanket statement and good for any -ims that anyone hangs on him.

“Cheeky” and “ironic”, like the holocaust.

I’m telling you - it just doesn’t get any cheekier than Nazis. So adorably evil.

Trump tweets on topics that are important to him. He tweeted his distaste about Hamilton and SNL. He did not tweet at all about white supremacists. To me, that means he gives them his full support. I don’t accept statements from his campaign/transition staff as indicative of Trump’s true beliefs.

Or as Trump said many times when talking about terrorism: Trump "disgracefully refused to even say the words “National Policy Institute” or "Alt-Right.’

That statement comes from Huffington Post, doesn’t it? They normalized human trafficking, so of course normalizing Trump isn’t beneath them. Lol @ HuffPo. Go spend time with shysters like Deepak and write more revelatory books about the need for rest and sleep while you normalize daily sexual violence for your rich friends, Arianna, you laughable, once-maybe-was a human being.

It’s very simple. He’s against racism as a ***concept. *** But now that America is Great Again, there aren’t any actual examples.

I’m trying to imagine what racism might look/sound like, if it existed.

It’s not ok, and I’d forgotten that detail. Thank you for driving it home. I will be calling as soon as I can formulate a coherent statement. So, here’s the contact information of Denise Turner Roth, GSA Administrator (I haven’t yet been able to find an email address):

Sources close to the Trump camp confidentially revealed that the primary reason the Donald condemned the neo-Nazi salutes was they were not done correctly. One Trump official stated: "if our white nationalist allies want Mr. Trump’s support, they need to extend their right hand straight and refer to him by his proper name “Herr Drumpf”.

This is exactly what worries me. Right now, he is preparing to assume a position of power. Once he’s actually in office, on January 20, 2017 he’ll actually have power, and he’ll have a lot of it. Scary indeed.

But…did he refudiate?

Spencer said Monday that those terms were meant to be “cheeky,” “exuberant” and “ironic.”

Yes, those Nazi salutes were very cheeky and ironic. Yessiree. Holocaust survivors everywhere are chuckling right now.

“Denounce racism” sounds good, but these racists don’t think they are racists, so they’re not going to hear you, as you’re well aware, Hair Furor. So if you want to get credit for being a statesman, you need to call these clowns out explicitly. Otherwise, you’re just farting in the wind (as usual).

Trump owes his victory to racism. That, I believe, is the dirty little not-so-secret of this past election.

There is a lot of that. There is a lot of other stuff that led to the votes he got, for the most part.

I don’t think that added up that is enough to have elected him, but it’s not going to make any difference.

Yeah, if he were serious about that he’d fire Bannon.

Remember the (mostly FOX) prolonged outrage about the Obamas’ “terrorist fist-bump”? I’ll wait for the media’s outrage about Trump’s seeming kind of OK with the whole Heil Trump thing.

just a suggestion but those Americans who consider themselves potential victims of the facist trumpers…might want to arm themselves.

Don’t be fooled. Trump is a liar. He openly encouraged Nazis to come out of the closet and adore him.
