Discussion: Trump Team Dodges On Anti-Muslim, Racist Comments From Flynn, Sessions

“Everybody who serves in a Trump administration will serve Donald Trump
and Mike Pence, and they will implement that vision and their ideas and
no one else’s.”

Yeah, not at all reassuring, that.

“Dodges”? Please tell your headline writer that the word is spelled “LIES.” Just because the President-Elect lives in an alternate reality does not demand that the rest of us follow him down the rabbit hole.

Miller praised Sessions as “someone who’s universally respected across party lines in the U.S. Senate.”

That a bit of a stretch. Sort of like stretching a Chiclet to the moon … and back.

have they gone to the new ‘got to’ blame yet?

blaming Meygn Kelly for taking things out of context… can’t use Obama as the excuse anymore…

that’s in relation to my previous comment about the ongoing Flynn rehabilitation.

Spicer added his own take later in the call, saying that “anyone’s personal view isn’t what matters.”

“You are serving the President-elect of the United States and implementing his views,” Spicer said. “Everybody who serves in a Trump administration will serve Donald Trump and Mike Pence, and they will implement that vision and their ideas and no one else’s.”

Trump: Being Anti-Muslim and devout racist is a pre-requisite for any role in my administration.

Why will they be “serving” Mike Pence. He’s the VP. His only job is to break ties in the senate. I guess they’re giving us clues as to who will really be running the country, while Trump hides out in Trump Tower.

Well since Flynn will be an adviser=a person who gives advice, typically someone who is expert in a particular field, and the person who is receiving the advise hasn’t a clue what anything that doesn’t personally involve himself, then Sean baby Flynn’s views will be Trump’s views.

sure you can.

They just need to be careful about the ‘push back’.

I think I figured it out: Pence will translate governmentspeak for Trump and Trumpy’s kid’s will translate international affairs into real estate/brand terms for Daddy.

Actually, blind loyalty and devotion, and a willingness to never question Dear Leader seem to be the prevailing prerequisites. Being a racist, anti-Muslim, misogynistic, bigoted, anti-Semitic and war-mongering are just bonuses.

How refreshing… that GOP’ers no longer take their personal feelings into account —

Spicer added his own take later in the call, saying
that "anyone's personal view isn't what matters."

Kind of like their thinking that, in the last 3 days, the economy is now “great” —

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend

Donald Trump and Michael Pence

against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

I just heard a reporter say Sessions and Eric Holder both “controversial”. False equivalence and other media malpractice will be the death of the republic.

Did I miss something… Do we now have a king? Or just someone, and someone’s staff that thinks he is king?

Good luck with that.

I found that comment strange. Isn’t Trump’s offering them up as nominees more of a look into what HIS vision and ideas are? He expects us to believe that he nominated them because they will forego their beliefs and be fair to all Americans? I think not.
