Oh, hell. FIGHT! We didn’t make you a U.S. Senator so you could get re-elected, we want you to vote for the polices that made this country great, now under attack. If you are not willing to do that for us, maybe we need someone else.
If you can’t point out two or three (That’s enough) simple reasons why Kavanaugh should never be on that court - you’re not doing your job. Don’t talk impeachment - talk justice.
Second, don’t fight in their ballpark.
Fight over your constituents losing their health care.
Point out that your constituent’s insurance premiums are going up - a lot! - devouring all of any sort of a tax break they “might” have got and then some.
Point out the budgets cuts to the subsidies for air and rail that now isolate your state from the rest of the county, making your products more expensive/non-competitive in outside markets.
Point out how the tariffs have hurt “them”.
Point out how REPUBLICAN policies via EPA, Commerce, Energy, Education, SEC, FCC, hurt “them”.
Trump’s hundreds of crimes, hatreds, infidelities, treasons? No. Impeachment? NO!
Why do national “pundits” always treat Montana like some version of North Alabama? Montana has had as many Democrats holding Senate and House seats (and the Governors mansion) in the last 20 years as Republicans, and probably more. The SC vote is a near non-issue for the vast majority of MT voters, and Kavanough’s anti-abortion position is a boost for Tester (assuming Tester votes against the nomination). Veterans, environmental care, and JOBS are what matter to Montanans. Not to mention the carpet-bagger status of Tester’s opponent.
