At least that’s what I’ve read. It would make sense though. I swear the most patriotic thought I can think today is that the best outcome might be some sort of sudden medical deus ex machina with a long unraveling of the incredible, world-historic corruption afterward so people could damn well just maybe wise up for next time. If that’s wrong and bad to wish then to hell with me. It would be better than killing millions because a few Americans voted for cheap entertainment rather than a competent leader.

It does strike you how he talks as if it has nothing to do with him. Maybe the Presidency was a cool toy he really, really wanted for a while and then found out it was no fun after all, just a stupid boring toy for losers.

I try to imagine the worst but ay caramba. Although maybe Trump with a cheese-brain unable to recognize the real from the imagined and treated by his handlers as an infant isn’t necessarily the worst. Note to self: Schedule drinking session for late evening.

Nope, miles to go before I sleep, Squirrel, family dinner and fireworks with friends, and already hit one sobriety checkpoint Saturday night. The state needs money but that’s not my problem. Will do serious drinking at home until I can afford a self-driving car.
