Screw it. I’m officially glad that Trump is in the race - he’s an equal opportunity destroyer. He’s taken out everyone else in his party; let him finish off the Water Boy and Cruzhole, and then we can all watch as his nomination takes down his party.

Rubio tried to copy from the Christie playbook that smashed him in the prior debate and use it on Trump. He failed.

LOL. In another debate from a another candidate, Mittens Romney: “I’ve fired tens of thousands of people. You’ve fired nobody.”
Regarding the credit card swipe, Rubio should have fired back that Trump has had multiple bankruptcies.

While I enjoy someone taking down these cretins, it’s a shame the takedown has to be from a cretin reality TV star.
Has anyone thought about a debate between a real candidate (Hillary or Bernie) and Trump in the general? You think Trump will finally look like the great orange clown that he is against a serious candidate. I’m not so sure. I think he has the power to turn this country into Idiocracy. How many American males will not find his grotesque misogyny and xenophobia, well, grotesque, but instead will feel liberated to say and do what they’ve always wanted to do: slap around or shoot someone weaker, someone darker, someone trying to bust their balls (their wives or women who won’t sleep with them), their dogs, etc.
Trump is the ugly American ID unleashed, a cancer on the body politic that was already on life support. We may still end up with a Democrat in the white house, but we will all suffer the battle scars. Nothing good will come of this.

I said something along the same lines (much less eloquently and poignantly than you have) about the danger of Trump in the General. Another poster riposted that Trump would lose and lose badly. My response? A prayer to the Virgin of Guadalupe.
The longer that Trump stays on the national stage, the smaller, meaner, more bigoted, less compassionate, UGLIER this country will become.
Of that there is not the slightest bit of doubt…and those who know it best are those of the MSM who are making all of it possible. And there is a special Ring of Hell for those who KNOW of the evil they do and still do it for lucre.
Without a microphone in is face, Trump would have been just another patient.
The MSM is at least 80% responsible for Trump. FOX and Talk Radio the other 20%.

I hold Palin, and therefore McCain and the RNC, partially responsible, too. Before Palin basically told the racists, bigots and flat-out crazies that it was not only acceptable but their patriotic responsibility to bring all the ugly out from under their beds and fly their hate flags high and proud, most people understood that a civil society wouldn’t tolerate their backwards, damaging views…

I certainly cannot disagree with you at all. I am beside myself with disgust for the MSM because of their melding this ugliness into their corporate portfolio.
