Discussion: Trump Starts Twitter Feud With Conservative Club For Growth

Discussion for article #240030

Eventually he’ll cut too many strands in the rope that suspends his huge ego in the GOP and it’ll snap.

Then it’ll be 3rd party city!

If he can’t win the nomination, he’ll just destroy the party. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch!

Someone who is that narcissistic will not go away nicely. Eventually he’s going to lose. When this thing is over, there’s going to be a lot of blood. Pass the popcorn,

Remember the last time there was a vengeful, thin-skinned, narcissistic media darling hero of the know-nothing base? It was what’s-her-name, that Palin lady. When you reflexively burn every bridge you come to, you’re going to get stuck in one place eventually.

Insult Mexicans?.. Good with GOP…

Insult a war hero: fine, he’s a RINO anyway…

Misogynistic, degrading comment about women: yawn…

Insult monied interests: that may be too far for the GOP

This is Presidential behavior??
The tweets sound more like a high school cat fight.
I’m glad I don’t do Facebook or Twitter.

Oh, I’d like to believe so. But even if he stays, the infighting will be delicious. A Trump Club for Growth cat fight - what’s not to like about that?

Oh, forgot about her. At first, I thought you were talking about Ross Perot. Because self-funding thin-skinned egotistical Mexico-obsessed billionaire with a bunch of simple solutions to simple problems who thinks years of bossing around cowering sycophants is relevant experience for the presidency.

Also, kinda like Carley except for the part where Perot and Trump were the thin skinned kind of CEO egotist whereas Carly is the kind of CEO egotist who’s so utterly convinced of her own awesomeness that neither her own career of fail or barbed comments by others can’t penetrate her hide.

This is the fight I’ve been waiting for, a useful one finally. Can’t wait for Trump to rip that twit Grover a new one.

Especially if it can create a permanent rift between the Kochsters and the other GOP monied parasites and the poor and middle class whites who vote for the GOP against their own interests.

Anyone remember that young lady in San Francisco who was shot by a illegal immigrant? Trump made most of his ugly anti-immigrant comments after that shooting. Trump then shot up in the polls. The immigrant said said the gun went off accidentally, turns out, there is evidence to back that up:

The media will never pay much attention to it though. I’m surprised CBS even covered it.

Seems there’s part of this story missing. What prompted Trump to start in on them? I would guess that the Club issued a press release or placed an editorial piece somewhere.

Typical of Trump, he doesn’t make a substantive criticism of the Club (which he undoubtedly could do, although it would alienate a lot of Republicans); he personalizes it and claims they’re :“nasty” to him because he turned down their request for money. I tend to believe the Club’s story.

No one will cover this fact because it is a fact.
