This song from when I was in high school, written about Mick Jagger by someone who had been one of his one night stands (a song on which Mick Jagger graciously sang back up vocals) sort of nails Donald Trump in general.

Well, when I was sort of post college, before there was internet, the lore was that it was Mick Jagger and that was why he was doing chorus back up singing work for a singer who had only previously been known for her top 40 hit Anticipation. When Keith Hernandez was with the Mets, she had a well publicized thing with him. Maybe she will say it was about him or could have been about him even though her thing with Keith Hernandez was over 10 years after the song.

Its pretty simple, Mr President. Had you done your job and done everything possible to get power and fresh water to all the American citizens in Puerto Rico, the death toll might have stayed in double digits. Instead, you tossed some paper towels and got some officials to pat you on the back, gave yourself an A grade and went home. Every day after that, people died because you neglected them. No power, contaminated water, no dialysis.

I was a youngster for West Side Story, which @littlegirlblue and I discussed earlier this week at some length.
My favorite song with that name was an early 70s top forty hit by B. W. Stevenson called My Maria. Nobody else who has covered that song had the awesome range to pull off the falsetto chorus like B.W. Stevenson. He co-wrote the song so I guess that figures.
