Discussion: Trump Spent '93 White House Correspondents Dinner Ogling Attendees

Those who actually have it don’t feel any psychopathic need brag about it.

And true idiots who somehow got the idea that the government is the same thing as a business.

Business and government are about as related as fish and lions. They share some things in common but just very very small amounts of basic material.

Not much frustrates me more than that belief - the only thing that tops it is the utter lack of understanding of the balance of power in our government.

tRump obviously has a little bit of a Napoleon complex.

I’ll be curious to see how Trump’s brand fares post-loss. Someone could hand me a certificate for a free week stay in his new DC hotel and I’d sooner sleep under a bridge while touring all the sites than cash it in.

You’'ll have to look quick because it is going to plummet like a rocket and keep going past the earth’s crust all the way to its molten core.

The GOTP has run on that theme of “we know business and will fix the government” for the past few elections. Drives me crazy as obviously running a government is completely different from running a business. Governments do not strive to make a profit for one thing. And there are many other differences. Sadly, too many people simply do not bother to think about this or are just clueless.

I think he looks rather dandy!

I’ve known so many businessmen in my life, including my father, who got the idea that they could run just about anything just because they successfully ran businesses and I can guarantee you that you can find someone within a half mile of you who believes this. The last guy to run this past me was a chiropractor who said he was more capable of running the government than Obama and I said how come and he said because he ran that chiropractor business. And badly I might add, since his bookkeeper screwed up every bill they presented to me.

It seems to be some kind of mania some people get when they are bosses.

Well, it seems drumpf has not changed at all. Still the short fingered vulgarian Spy magazine described decades ago. A vulgar fraud and a billion dollar loser.

between some standards and none whatsoever.

Trumpers believe that good manners is draining your bottle of beer before smashing it over the head of a rival fan at a WWF event.

I always chuckle when a politician says the government should run their budget like a family at the dining table trying to make ends meet and not go into debt while doing it. Framed in the context of needing to balance the budget. Pay as you go. Don’t borrow. I never see an opposing politician ask “Oh, so when a family needs a home they plunk down $200k in cash?” Like goddamned mortgage companies don’t exist for a reason. And why is it these balanced budget pols never advocate banning and ceasing the sale of U.S. bonds?

Donald Trump’s behavior seems to have gone beyond “ogling”. This is more like harassment. Likely, he was pawing as well and the women are embarrassed to discuss it.

To Donald Trump’s credit, he does not appear to have compared the women there to Ivanka?

Brilliant point. She was also an extremely beautiful model, so I imagine she was fairly familiar with men making inappropriate comments about her appearance. For her to get up and move, it must’ve been relentless and revolting.

“YOU support Donald Trump?”

I suppose, until 9 November, this will be a wail which will separate friends, spouses, relatives, neighbors, co-workers…

And…for me, to-day, a person I had high regard for as a baseball player: Johnny Bench.

Look…I am not from Cincinnati. For all I know, Bench was known as a Klukker in Cincy for all these years…but, for me, this is a downer.

As are all the famous gnomes coming out of the woodwork for Trump.

They support the most insane (even including Nixon) person associated with the U.S Presidency in history.

The worst part of this story is Trump probably remembers Vendela Kirsebom thoroughly enjoying herself and being madly captivated by his company.

I always chuckle when a politician says the government should run their budget like a family at the dining table trying to make ends meet and not go into debt while doing it.

At some point a Democrat should take that and run with it. Something like, “you are right, like a family we should budget for food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, and education. But you know what families don’t budget for? War. So that is a good place to start cutting.”

He may not have shared all of his thinking with you.
