Paging Mr. Mueller…

The Democratic counter should be a permanent CHIP extension, a permanent continuing resolution and a permanent repeal of the “debt ceiling.” The federal government should coast on autopilot indefinitely, until such time as we repeal and replace enough Republicans for Congress to collectively get its shit together.

We don’t have a reliable partner at the White House to negotiate with,” @LindseyGrahamSC said

HMM. IF ONLY SOMEBODY OR MAYBE AN ENTIRE PARTY OR MAYBE FIFTY-ODD MILLION VOTERS HAD WARNED YOU.

Trump’s “smile” remains one of the more horrific sights on earth.

A steel jacketed, hollow point clue couldn’t penetrate Trump’s thick skull.

What will it take for the Repubs to forcefully stand up to this out-of-control buffoon?

If you look at the big picture of what is happening, it seems to me that a lot of the recent chaos can be traced back to Kelly’s behind the scenes machinations at the White House. Arranging to have insane scum like Cotton and Perdue whispering into Trump’s ear before an honest effort at a bipartisan deal on DACA was pure evil. Trump is an idiot, but Kelly isn’t - and as much as it seems like he does not control Trump because of the tweets, he is controlling his schedule and people’s access and is using that power to no good end. Trump is getting more and more counsel from the real hard-liners - between that and the horrendous television shows he appears to watch and believe, the situation is actually getting worse. I am worried to think that is possible, but it is. Imagine Tom Cotton as president making decisions on Iran.

Yes - Trump’s team is not getting any better at wielding the levers of power, but those who know how to wield the levers of power are finding their way to him.

Trump is failing.
He is loosing elections and some of his base because no one believes he is as great as he thinks he is.
His slogan has always been,“Make Trump Greater Then His Abilities”.
His only talent is chaos, then step back to allow somebody to fix his mess and then take the credit.
He does not care about anyone or anything and is willing to destroy much of what is good about country to prove how great he is.
He will get even and it is now down to the Republicans to end his reign of terror.

Dumb Donny, the gift that keeps on giving, to Democrat’s that is.

Most alarming is every single thing I read of an Admin person saying indicates a pre-emptive strike against N. Korea is the preferred course of action. My gut tells me such insanity really can’t be in the cards, but there’s scant evidence anyone in Trump’s orbit finds it an especially distasteful or problematic option.

How long will this ‘off phase’ last in his fawn and off relationship with Trump?

Sowing chaos–isn’t that what Satan is supposed to do? I guess that’s why the evangelicals like Trump so much.

Mass spine replacements.

The GOP is going to suffer a massive loss in the mid-terms—a loss that is richly deserved and for which the Republicans have worked very hard.
After the Big Blue Wave, it won’t much matter what the GOP does or says.

Cotton sees himself in that role—a role for which he is singularly unqualified.
For a man with his education, Cotton is phenomenally stupid.
