I could never understand that, either. We are supposed to prevent a ārogue nationā like Iran from developing nuclear weapons, yet we have already allowed an unstable nation like Pakistan to have them? I think the sanctions on North Korea are probably doing far worse damage than they have done to Iran, yet they arenāt backing down on their quest for nukes. And the hard-line assholes like Bolton and Pompeo and the rest are still stupid enough to believe that the sanctions are going to turn the people of Iran against their government when all it accomplishes is the evaporation of any warming in relations to the US from Iran due to the nuclear agreement negotiated by Obama and the other international powers, and also steels the people of Iran to support their government even more. They know who is responsible for this.
And besides, the US, Russia, China, Israel and the rest of these nuke-possessing states telling Iran they canāt have nuclear weapons is rather like some redneck ammosexual who owns 257 AR-15s telling his next-door neighbor that he isnāt allowed to buy a handgun to protect his home from burglars because it poses a threat to the ammosexual.
I see two angry men who donāt have a reason in the world to be angry. Government salary and health coverage, guaranteed tenure for four years, best address on the East Coast. And free construction paper and Sharpies.
