Oh, excellent. How many Goopers are reading this over their Wheaties this morning??
HahHhahhahHAhHhaahahHahHahahaha
I almost hate to say this - but Trump’s point: “They love my Tax & Regulation Cuts, Judicial picks & more.” is spot on.
The Koch brothers have two major issues with Trump -
-
Trump’s trade policies are hurting their businesses
-
Trump has succeeded in waking up Americans - and this increase has put the Koch’s long-term agenda in danger. The more activism inspired by Trump, the less influence ALEC and AstroTurf groups like the Tea Party will have on Americans.
That’s why they’re complaining about Trump being ‘divisive’ - they don’t want people paying attention to what’s going on.
I call BULLSHIT. The Kochs only have one goal - more money for themselves. They are bitching because they want ANOTHER fat tax cut.
If anybody thinks they have grown a conscience, they haven’t been paying attention. 100% greed, 100% of the time. Money over country and fuck the poor.
The Kochs see the writing on the wall and are looking to make inroads to the coming democratic majority.
Trump is right about a few thing here, the tax and regulation cuts do help out the Kochs (no surprise there… the Kochs purchased the Congress that passed them).
Trump is just mad that they dont kiss the ring.
In shorter words - Trump to Koch Brothers: “No, you are the Losers!”
I must have missed the most recent tweet explaining the logistics of the upcoming Trump-Koch summit meeting?
Also: someone should explain to Trump that these are guys aren’t related to Ed Koch.
You go Trumpie. You don’t need any of that grubby old Koch money. All the “real” GOPers know Big Daddy Putin has it covered…
I love the smell of Republican internecine warfare in the morning. I’d also love to see Paul Ryan’s face when he first reads that tweet.
Trump made the Koch brothers richer, but he’s for the “average guy,” that his policies have made poorer.
Speaking of bad ideas…
I don’t need their money or bad ideas.
No? Then how’s come you’re implementing their bad ideas? How’s come you’re supporting the Congress by signing the bills that put their bad ideas into law?
You may not need their money, but you sure as heck need the votes they’ve bought.
Charlatan.
“I’m … a puppet for no one” sounds a wee bit defensive, no?
I’m thinkin’ Biscuits 'n Gravy at Bo’s.
That’s OK, Donnie, damned few people want much to do with you either.
(CNN)LeBron James thinks the President is using athletics, and athletes, to split up the country. And he's rejecting the premise like an opponent's ill-advised layup.
"What I've noticed over the past few months," James shared with CNN's Don Lemon during a sit-down interview on Monday. "(Is) he's kinda used sports to kinda divide us, and that's something that I can't relate to."
.............................
***Queried on what he'd say to Trump were the President positioned before him, and he's quick to clarify "I would never sit across from him."***
But helping the next generation conquer certain obstacles, this is what has secured James' full focus, with a nod to the past serving as his future model.
"If we look at some of the greatest leaders of our time, you look at, you know, Muhammad Ali, you look at Dr. Martin Luther King, and all the adversity they went through," he told Lemon, as the pair sat in the very school the star helped construct. "They always use it to say 'OK, this is even more motivation, this is even more a way for me to even be more powerful.' And -- and they're the reason why we are here today."

Trump does not need anyone.
He heard about about “The ship that even God can’t sink” and he thinks that about himself.
He didn’t “make them richer” by expanding income opportunities for them. He just gave them a chunk of tax money. The Koch’s know in time those taxes will go up in response to a deficit explosions but they’ll be left with a post Trump world trade order that looks down on the USA. We used to call folks like the Koch’s international businessmen but now the pejorative globalist is used and I suspect they’ve had enough. You don’t have to support or like the Koch’s to know they’ve a lot more on the ball than Trump. They supported the GOP for the same reason a tradesman takes care of his tools. To get something out of them. Tool worn out. Pitch it and get something new.
“I don’t care if the Democrats take over the House”.
Yes, his knack for unleashing the simmering racism, misogyny, xenophobia, homophobia and anti-intellectualism in Americans provides a refreshing change from the good old days when we felt the need to restrain our most hideous impulses and opinions.
Many valid points about how the Kochs still suck… but what should be most alarming is that this Trump unceasing divisiveness / picking fights and in a way - loyalty testing his base … is like a tempering process … strengthening and refining his power in the way to a dictatorship.
