Yep, the states know best how to give the rich districts more resources, cut off the poor, and stuff the minorities in to the worst schools. That’s what local control, without federal guidelines and rules, looks like, we’ve already seen it, and several states will gladly go right back to it (and sort of have through the use of private schools).

Oklahoma would be eager to expand its holocaust program. The Holocaust will remain a stain on our history until the day Roe v. Wade is overturned.

Republicans have long chafed at federal government involvement in education, asserting that states and local governments, school boards and parents Tea Party–infested GOP state legislatures are best positioned to decide what students (especially minority students in poor school districts) learn.
