I would also like to add that any stupid journalist, political commentator or pundit that uses, refers or repeats the epithet to Madame Speaker Pelosi or Senate Minority Leader Schumer as “Chuck and Nancy” should be tarred and feathered and roundly dismissed as a know-nothing idiot. I’ve seen those kind of comments happen on cable in jest and I find that totally inappropriate and objectionable. There’s no excuse for repeating tRump’s attempts at diminishing a person’s reputation by his manner of mean tweet or public use of a hostile attack against his political opposition.

Pelosi and Schumer have a plan. I can’t pretend to know the best was to finesse this shutdown, and they have decades of experience at this. Nevertheless, can someone tell me why Dems aren’t running footage of the Oval Office meeting where Trump defiantly said he’d both own the shutdown and not blame it on Democrats? Shouldn’t there be ads all over the airwaves, 24/7, at this critical juncture of the shutdown, tattooing Trump with this debacle?
Most of the time he’s been in office he repeats over and over what he wants people to believe and seemingly it’s worked, until now. After all, he gave a performance in front of cameras that he though would get Pelosi and Schumer to do his bidding and it backfired.
