"And when I’m president, there won’t be any of these Secret Service scandals. All my guys are very classy. Top notch goons and thugs that know how to take orders. "

Might as well bring in the Hell’s Angels to bop some heads when the unwashed get too rowdy.

Kind of hard to tell exactly what happened in the previous few seconds, but the protester probably shouldn’t have acted so aggressively. He’s justifiably angry, but from the video, it does seem like it was attacking the security guards.

So much for freedom of speech in a Trump admin.
Trump has goons in his employ and I’ve heard of mafia ties.

Meanwhile, Putin’s wanting to smoke the whole Pole as the President and Chinese warships make ‘random’ guest appearances…A UFO show on the History channel or what?

If Donald Trump doesn’t fire the guard who stole the protesters sign, then he condones that behavior.

A second security guard, who appeared to be the same man who escorted Univision anchor Jorge Ramos out of a Trump press conference last week, restrained the protester while the other guard went inside Trump Tower with the banner.

Huh ? This is not accurate. The white headed man is the same person that removed Ramos. Someone else restrained the protester

This, the ‘Brown Shirts’, are exactly the danger. They preceded the rise of the nightmare in Germany. They were laughed at in the universities. The equivalent of TPM at the time. I was told over and over again when growing up in the 50’s and 60’s, “Don’t laugh. It is very, very serious. Keep your eyes open.”

Look–SQUIRREL!

The dumbing down of America continues, all because America wants mind numbing “entertainment.”

A handful of security guards act like assholes and is all Slippery Slope to Hitler time?

Right. How is this anything less than assault? Trump’s bodyguard grabbed the sign from the protester, the protester tried to retrieve it, and was punched in the face.

The guy that restrained Ramos is the guy who punched the protester. He’s Trump’s personal body man.

GOPers love this type of stuff. It reminds me of one of Rand Paul’s security guards who slammed a female protester’s head on a sidewalk while he was running for the Senate.

We know how that turned out. GOPers in KY loved him.

If you’d seen the longer video of this incident the security guard walked over to the protesters, who were I imagine several yards away from the building, and snatched the protesters sign out of his hands and started ripping it up. The protester ran after him to retrieve the sign.

In other words, the guard provoked this incident and had no right to snatch anything from that man unless he had a weapon.

Okay. Thanks.

At least one other person watched MSNBC last night. The guy throwing the punch is Trump’s personal body guard. He has worked for him for years and he is an ex NY cop. I forget his name but they said it on air. The way Trump blamed these incidents on security instead of a guy he knows very well is just evidence of how he is the best at lying. The best.

Tearing the banner away was assault. Punching the protestor trying to retrieve stolen property is battery. I’m sure there an even stronger legal term for hitting someone in the commission of a crime, and for abetting the thief by restraining the protestor, which is also an illegal act.

There had damned well better be charges - major charges - pending.
