Discussion: Trump Says Pruitt's Resignation Was 'Up To Him,' No 'Final Straw' Despite Scandals

It’s beautiful really. No final straw, up to him totally. And the corn in the cornfield he was wished into was as high as an elephant’s eye. Fitting, for an Oklahoman.

That is it exactly – Trump is too weak to actually fire somebody. Moreover, Pruitt made Trump look like a weak manager by continuing with the unprecedented grift even when told to knock it off. If you can’t fire Pruitt, you can’t fire anyone. This is just another example of the con unraveling, but this is one that regular folks can understand.

They crave his disrespect. They feed on it. That’s how they think the world works or should work, the rich and powerful disrespecting their lessers and their supporters. That’s what they believe Obama thought of us. It’s a game the rich, rich of all political stripes, play on us. They don’t believe Trump gives a shit about them any more than we believe it, but it validates them to see him going through the motions and pretending.

It’s fucking sick.

Pruitt is gone. Trump makes up a story, the lying continues. November 6 approaches.

Also could be Harold Hamm (fracking guy) was protecting him or because he got confronted in public …

This nomination always puzzled me. Trump could have picked any generic Republican, and he/she would have been delighted to rape the environment to benefit big business. But he opted for Pruitt, a venal, petty crook.

He looked into his heart and saw it was nearly as black as his.

That tells me that trump places value on Pruitt doing what he (trump) wants before any ethical consideration. That is not good.

Nice. Not sure I was ready to go Broadway on Pruitt as I’m a big fan of the ‘boards’.

But, we can go ‘The winds they call Mariah ‘have blown this sycophant who desperately wanted cred to be OK Governor ‘down the plain’.

Enough of being too damn smart.

Adios, MOFO!

There’s no final straw. Riiiiiight. There are enough straws to flatten the camel and put it 6 feet under. Pruitt is getting out ahead of something. Expecting a deluge of other shoes any day now, not just for Pruitt but for the whole rouges’ gallery. (I’m getting metaphor fatigue).
