release his taxes
Make America Great Again
repeal and replace Obamacare
donate to Harvey relief efforts
play some golf and try to unwind a little.

When Trump holds his next ego-boosting rally, do we not think he’ll use his ‘repeal’ of DACA as an applause line? The more he gets cheered for it, the less he’ll care if Congress does anything. It’s not for the Dreamers he’s talking about a Congressional fix or his ‘revisiting.’ It’s just to buy some time so the criticism will die down (he hopes).
Wait, so the DACA executive action by Obama was presidential overreach that threatened the Constitutional balance of the nation, but if Congress doesn’t act Trump will do it again?

I suspect he wasn’t pleased to discover most Americans didn’t have a problem with DACA. Imagine 800,000 real life stories across the country. “Mommy, Jimmy was deported, we went to kindergarten together. what does deported mean? Will they do that to me? I am going to miss Tommy, he is my friend.” Or “Our rising young accountant Betty was deported yesterday. She will be missed?” Or “Mommy Tommy’s mother was deported today. She was called a Dreamer. What’s a Dreamer Mommy?” Multiply stories like those by 800,000 and you will realize that Trump made a really bad decision and it is going to continue biting him in the butt.
What we need to do now is shift the responsibility to Congressional Republicans. Let the FreeDumb Caucus own those 800,000 stories.

As I’ve mentioned before, Republican consultant Rick Wilson predicts that revoking DACA will be the death blow to the GOP. (Couldn’t happen to a nicer group.) He’s compared its effects to the result of Prop. 187 in California, which resulted in a permanent Rethugliklan minority.
BTW: The correctness of Wilson’s predictions has been 100%. He also coined the axiom “Everything Trump Touches Dies.™” Here’s hoping he’s correct once again.
