Thanks. I am not sure why Trump needs to get involved with this case. I don’t think it would be a death penalty case if somebody was able to prove the alleged facts and I am not sure the Army could prove anything even if there was a charge.

He obviously knows nothing about it. How could he? This guy is up for General Courts Martial. There’s a whole lot less bullshit room in one of those than there is in a civilian trial. Command influence is a deal breaker. If Trump tries to put pressure on the Tribunal because he outranks the people officiating it that’s Command Influence and it ends the process in mistrial. The Military prosecutor will file for protection and get it. The defendant will then face a new tribunal after the first was shut down by influence on his behalf. That’s not good for the defendant.

Trump dodged the draft. I got grabbed by it. I spent near 10 years in the Green Machine and I can tell all in here Trump is way out of his league in this. He will get respect from Military personnel because the law says they must respect him. That’s why you see Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines showing that respect to an asshole Commander in Chief. They have to. JCoS will tell Trump to back off and he will.
