“Donald Trump on Wednesday said that it’s unlikely that he’ll change.”
I am not used to Trump telling the truth.
“Donald Trump on Wednesday said that it’s unlikely that he’ll change.”
I am not used to Trump telling the truth.
That’s only a small pressure relief, so when he can’t spew fast enough through his pie hole. Not nearly enough relief if things really build up.
Translation, “I got here on your back Brett. I don’t want to spend a dime on my campaign if you can help it. I intend to continue relying on a pliant press by winning every daily cycle with outrageous, racist and bigoted remarks. Being boring just costs too much money.”
Pivot!!!21!!??one!!!
Did he pivot yet?
Pivot is another word for turn, which is another word for spin which is a PC way to say lie.
Trump lies and then spins his lies then twists and turns until the lie fits but he won’t pivot per se.
Of course he’s lying about that too, as a lizard tongued shape-shifter he morphs by the minute and pivots by the passel.
It’s hard to believe, but I’m honestly not sure he can grasp the simple fact that what worked on one side of the street might not work on the other, that you can’t glue things together with a saw and so forth. He’s that immature, that sure his gut is always right. He seems completely unaware he’s been acting out like a spoiled child in public for an entire year because that’s what he felt like doing and for the Republican base it so fun to watch that he won the primaries.
See below. This took place THIS WEEK. That is not a pivot. What you ARE witnessing is a MSM con-job of PRESENTING Donald Trump in the best possible light in every conceivable way.
This is from TPM yesterday…
[Donald Trump told Bill O’Reilly on Tuesday that he witnessed people call for a moment of silence for the man who killed five police officers and wounded eleven other people at a Black Lives Matter rally last week.
Asked by the Fox News host if there was a divide between blacks and whites in America, Trump used this as an example of how “there would seem to be."
“It’s getting more and more obvious and it’s very sad, very sad,” Trump went on. “When somebody called for a moment of silence to this maniac that shot the five police, you just see what’s going on. It’s a very, very sad situation.”
There were no media reports about anyone calling for a moment of silence for gunman Micah Johnson, though groups from Congress to the New York Stock Exchange held moments of silence for the victims of last Thursday’s mass shooting. Searches on social media for people making such calls also came up short.]
some of us benthere…
especially the poll numbers… they are so desperate for another round of that Citizens United gravy train, like they milked out of all the bigots against Obama, but the same-old-billionaires are sitting this one out, the MSM is beside itself about the loss of potential hog-slop…
They will try to make it look close, and in the end it will be exactly where it started, Hillary wins by the same percentage she had at the outset. But in between, those poll numbers will run like rollercoasters through our lives, the ups and downs totally contrived to keep us throwing money at the flawed process that put Trump on stage in the first place. .
No need to pivot when you can simply divot.
I wonder if they’ve learned anything that’s remotely pro-social from this experience.
Exactly, and that’s why he’s campaigning in places like Maine, CA, IN, and TX, states he either has no chance of winning or states he should win handily. He doesn’t grasp that his “message” doesn’t sell well in CA or that he shouldn’t have to sell it in TX. But ultimately he just believes that what has worked for him all these years is going to continue to work for him. This behavior has made him a celebrity thus far, it’s gotten him a TV show, numerous endorsement and branding deals, and now it’s gotten him dangerously close to being the most powerful person on the planet. In some ways, I can’t actually blame him for clinging to the stubborn belief that he can “being himself” is the only way to win.
James Carville brought this up when interviewed on the Bloomberg show on MSNBC. The Republican bobble heads running that show simply ignored him. He was getting in the way of their narrative about Trump. Chris Hayes did cover the comment later, but only really hardcore Democrats watch him. Democrats should have been all over that all day, but except for Carville they weren’t.
Well…dammit’ all! That means I won’t get to use this nifty lil’ vid I found just for his imminent transformation:
Looks like the POS hairball toad will remain the POS hairball toad, huh?
Leopard —Spots…
Trump Says He’ll Probably Never Pivot For The General Election
And per the NY Times, the convention will have a night highlighting BENGHAZI!!!, a video on Monicagate, and an appearance of Tim Tebow.
Surely no pivot.
The stunning part of this is that Trump sounds like a functional illiterate when he wings it: “Hussein? Bad guy. Terrible guy. US? Good guys. What’s the deal? They’re stupid.”
This is the speaking style Trump lauds as his secret weapon. In effect, saying nothing but tossing out enough buzzwords to suggest a point of view, when, in fact, he commits himself to absolutely nothing.
Can you imagine a President Trump speaking to a summit conference of world leaders? Half the attendees would be doodling, the other half checking their iPhones, and 100% of them would be quietly giggling at the level of leadership this nation offers the world.
Here’s the thing, Matt… in his world, THERE IS NO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET in the first place.
Nope. He seems to have no internal impetus to question or modify anything he decides to do. And he’s not very responsive to hints from outside his thick skull either. Piece of work, that one.
