And now trump is threatening Comey:

This truly gets crazier and crazier, doesn’t it?

Just for context, here are the results of the most recent Quinnipiac poll. Question was ā€œWhat is the first word that comes to mind when you think of Donald Trump?ā€

The concept of Donnie ā€œthinkingā€ blows my mind, dude…

Now the concept of Donnie hitting a Nixonian level of paranoia? No problem…

Liar.

Even if he wasn’t personally under investigation before, he better be under investigation now.

Democrats need to start calling for his resignation and impeachment now. This is clearly obstruction of justice.

Aside from being absolutely horrified by this buffoon, the thought that HE thinks he can dismiss someone for conducting an investigation into something that HE, TRUMP thinks has no merit is mind boggling. With the myriad of data coming in about Flynn, Trump still defends him. He invites the Russians into his office, bans the US press, denigrates ā€˜regular’ Americans and believes that he is the arbiter of truth and justice…or at least the truth and justice YOU, one of the little people, should buy. Amazing.

It’s almost like the Ghost of Richard Nixon (new garage band name) is haunting trump to take revenge out on the R party that turned on him back in the day.

Late edit: Where is the presidential portrait of Nixon today? Can’t seem to find out where. Love that it would still be in the WH somewhere. Heh heh. Is it at the Nixon Library? Anyone know?

But Nixon was shrewd.

(I like the band name.)

He ā€˜pushes’ people to ā€˜leak’ if only to save their reputations.

Almost textbook. ā€œI don’t like this investigation into me and my cronies. I’ll fire the investigator.ā€

Hair Furor simply believes that the rules don’t apply to him.

Sound familiar?

Not only that, he thinks he decides whether or not to expand the investigation. PP believes he controls the FBI, that they’re not an independent agency. I find that stunning.

And that’s definitely a statement for the courts.

But he added, contradicting himself, that he had considered unilaterally attempting to ā€œlengthenā€ the investigation, seemingly in order to contradict the negative optics of firing Comey.

ā€œWhen I did this now I said, I probably, maybe will confuse people, maybe I’ll expand that, you know, I’ll lengthen the time, because it should be over with, in my opinion, it should have been over with a long time ago, because all it is, is, an excuse.ā€
ā€œBut I said to myself, I might even lengthen out the investigation, but I have to do the right thing for the American people,ā€ he continued, adding of Comey: ā€œHe’s the wrong man for that position.ā€

Word salad or word colloidal suspension?

He thinks that everyone in the Federal government works for him. Loyal employees. Wants them to sign non-disclosure agreements. He tells them what to do, and if they don’t do it, he can fire them.

He really is that clueless.

When he says ā€œthe Russia thingā€, I think of mobsters talking to each other about their thing, literally la cosa nostra

In our thing, you get sent for, you go in alive, you come out dead

And that neatly sums up why a lifelong businessperson-only is a terrible choice to be president. They’re used to having total control, and the government just ain’t that way. Or shouldn’t be that way.
