“I hope it doesn’t involve violence. I hope it doesn’t. I’m not suggesting that,”
You just did! This and all your other comments like:
“. . .it’s a rigged system, it’s a crooked system. It’s 100 percent corrupt. . . I think you’d have riots. I think you’d have riots. I’m representing a tremendous — many, many millions of people”
These are an open invitation to violence by his supporters. I hope the Cleveland Police are ready.
Has ANY U.S. Presidential candidate ever said something like this?
Has any U.S. Presidential candidate ever mentioned riots if he were not nominated?
If he’s not nominated he’ll urge his followers to revolt, you can bet your ass on that.
So when will the Republicans say that they won’t negotiate with terrorists?
What’s with the dudes with the hats and the blue ties in the photo? Is that the Vanguard of the Trumpenproletariat, out to mess with the Bushoisie? Why aren’t they wearing brown shirts?
“I hope it doesn’t involve violence, and I don’t think it will.” …BUT…
It’s absolutely a constant thing from him to say things with a mealy-mouthed deniability: “I said I wouldn’t call so-and-so a liar, so I won’t.” That sort of B.S. is constant because he’s an immature, irresponsible trouble-making punk.
Adolf Hitler…
In the Old Days, Eric Sevaried, Howard K. Smith, Walter Cronkite, David Brinkley, John Chancellor would be penning and broadcasting op-eds demanding this man’s removal from the 2016 Election,
Possible felony charges.
For the vast majority of people in this country there is no first or second-hand knowledge of the above individuals, those like them or the news organizations they worked for. I feel a sense of profound sadness for them, and a lot of self blame for my generation standing by as the “news” became “the entertainment”.
If it’s any consolation, I think the vast majority also knew this creature only as a flashy real-estate guy from New York who had some sort of show on TV. They’ve gotten to know him better, and as a result his negatives are higher than any Presidential candidate ever, with one exception: David Duke. But of course, Mr. Trump is always number one in everything he does and I’m sure David Duke’s record is vulnerable.
Right you are. That is why I said “U.S.” President.
No matter.
The debauched, corrupt, for-sale and 100% compromised MSM has yet another vehicle to ride the Trump Money Train. The MSM is far far worse than the U.S. Congress.
The U.S. Congress can be voted out. The MSM will still be able to gouge the American people for profit UNTIL Congress legislates guidelines for their funding, and their integrity AS NEWS ORGANIZATIONS CHARGED WITH INFORMING A MODERN NATION.
I think I’m developing a new creative form of dyslexia in my advancing years. When I glanced at your comment, I read “as a real flesh eating guy”.
Maybe I’m not wrong … LOL
Just to make sure if they didnt hear him the first time he tried to incite violence at the convention…a reminder.
I said I would not say Trump eats human flesh. I absolutely promised myself I would not say that. But there’s no way to know whether or not he eats human flesh, to be honest with you. There’s no way to know that, to be honest. No way to know.
“…it’s a rigged, it’s a crooked system. It’s 100 percent corrupt.”
And how is this any different from what Sanders is saying?
Rump:
“I don’t want anyone of my followers to be violent despite the fact that the system is corrupt.”
Sanders is a democrat, a Jew and not a presumed billionaire. He also doesn’t have a reality show. He is also not rude.
Trump : “Nice convention you got here. Pity if anything happened to it.”
Off topic : why did TPM change the user names to be all lower case? It is much harder to read them now. Usability sacrificed at the altar of hipness.
