It was just very conciliatory…

What the hell does that even mean?

Well, Ryan pointedly drew a line between the Klan and the GOP the other day, and that probably felt to Trump like a frontal assault. He seems to have two stances toward the world outside his skull: outright hostilities or a shaky truce. I’m still waking up and might be forgetting but I can’t recall to mind any permanent allies or friends with whom his relationship is stable.

What concerns me about a Trump candidacy is that he will receive the preponderance of media coverage. It will be: Trump. Trump. Trump. Trump. Oh, by the way, a Democrat is running too.
That’s what NPR has been doing so far this morning.

Trump said on CNN that he did not mean the comment “as a threat.”
Nope. More like a deal he can’t refuse.

The next Republican congress will eliminate NPR, and President Trump will sign on the dotted line.

Trump also addressed his recent comment that Ryan will get along with him or the speaker is “going to end up wearing cement overshoes and sleeping with the fishes.” Trump said on CNN that he did not mean the comment “as a threat.”

Trump gets 74%

Ryan gets the scraps

Ryan plans on speaking with all of the Republican candidates.

If Ryan waits long enough, he will only need to be speaking with Trump and maybe Cruz.

Wait another couple of weeks, Paul. Your phone bill will be small enough to drown in the bathtub, if you do.

“It was just very conciliatory. We get along well. I like him a lot. I respect him a lot. I think he respects me,” Trump said, describing his call with Ryan. "I think he really does respect what I’ve done. He said it. It’s amazing. He said it’s amazing."

Ryan needs to get asked about birtherism and immigration.

Trump needs to get asked about them ‘block grants’ and ‘tentherism’.

Trump also addressed his recent comment that Ryan will get along with him or the speaker is “going to have to pay a big price.” Trump said on CNN that he did not mean the comment "as a threat."

There are basketball teams who play better followup defense than the American media does in regards to the followup question.

Of course he said it’s amazing, objectively it is amazing. What Trump’s done is amazing, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good thing.

“After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things — terrible, yes, but great.”

Ryan expressed a desire to compare abs with Trump and insisted the billionaire seems as fit as a man of 20.

Typical Toles… most excellent word play!
