Don jr. or Ivanka?

Poor Donnie, always dissatisfied with someone. Ever think you might be the problem? Of course not.

I had forgotten that appearance where Coates got laughter at donnie’s expense. It goes to show you how freaked out donnie is about Mueller that he didn’t boot Coates long ago.

Trump seethed at what he saw as an attempt to embarrass him in front of high-ranking security officials.

tRump doesn’t need help in embarrassing himself in front of anybody. It’s just another case of tRump showing that he doesn’t want competent or respected advisers, instead he demands fawning lackeys. Character and expertise are disqualifying.

Nah …Jared, he needs another job.

“Loyalty” is important.

As long as it’s loyalty to the constitution… I’m good.

Coats has publicly undercut the President in statements about foreign affairs, specifically disarmament in North Korea.

Telling the truth based on facts and evidence always seems to “undercut” the former reality TV show host. And it’s a sure way to be seen as disloyal.

As for a replacement, I’ve heard Baldy McHottub Whitaker is looking for new opportunities to be a lackey.

Neither is qualified for Director of National Intelligence — emphasis on the last word. It’ll be Jared Kushner.

Ha …“great minds” and all.

The President is a paid asset of the Russian government; that is a joke too bitter for laughter. One aspect that does bring a chuckle though: he still expects everyone who works for him to be a Russian asset for nothing–no recompense, to be used like a dull chisel hammered into granite until it shatters. And he’s still outraged when someone like Coats resists being treated like cannon fodder. He’s actually surprised.

Spanky might want to reconsider firing Coats – that will free him up to talk freely to the press, in general terms at least. He obviously won’t be able to go into details involving security issues but I expect he still has plenty to say.

Trouble is there’s nobody more performatively “loyal” than Pence, who repeats any crazy nonsense Trump says and talks about him like Louis XIV’s most obsequious and fawning courtier. This isn’t enough for Trump either, because he doesn’t believe it; you have to really feel that way, and literally nobody does. Coats is like many D.C. denizens, trying to split the difference and maintain a modicum of viability when reality comes back into fashion. But it really doesn’t seem like a thing anyone can do indefinitely. At this rate we’ll have a Team of Toadies running things before long.

At this point, working for Trump while trying to maintain the principles of the constitution and good government is not just a contradiction in terms, it is a definition of hell. You cannot remain loyal to Trump unless you are amoral.

“I only hire the best. Then I don’t like the best. Then I have someone else fire the best. Then I repeat.”

I also like the he’s “not loyal”. That’s right, maybe he’s loyal to the COUNTRY, as it should be.

Maybe Putin can name a suitable successor, one who wouldn’t contradict the President with facts?

Tough to have to deal with honest people.

It’s a given that your average GOP foot soldier will eat a mountain of shit for the cause, but the degredation they’ve subjected themselves to at the hands of Trump is truly a sight to behold. I just cannot imagine a scenario where Democrats would put up with this kind of abuse for two minutes let alone two years. Really, the self-loathing is performance art at this point.

I’m thinking Lindsey Graham. His pitiful sucking up is bound to pay off soon.
