I will take a seemingly contrarian view on this matter. House Republican’ts are absolutely correct to say there was no provable collusion with the Russians. Unless there is still-secret evidence that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin conspired to fix the world price of vodka, collusion didn’t happen. They are basically performing a legal sleight-of-hand for PR purposes. What we all should be concerned with is whether or not there are provable criminal conspiracies perpetrated by anyone within Trump’s carnival freak show before, during and after the election. Most likely we will find evidence of multiple financial crimes that predate the campaign, influence peddling that predate the inauguration, lying on required disclosure forms or to various investigators and obstruction of justice charges borne out of lying to cover all of that up.

Mueller can fold, the Senate can go the way of the House.

But he will never be out of the woods at this point. This is not a situation of just moving on.
