For all my problems with Donald Trump, I really didn’t think he was trying to say she was acting like a b**tch because she was on her monthly cycle. Even for him I think that would be a 'bridge too far". I thought it was just an extremely awkward metaphor. I am happy that Mr. Trump is surviving because of the chaos he is sowing on the GOP side. I am still not totally convinced that he isn’t some kind of Manchurian Candidate!

Highest ever Primary debate ever. Ever. FOX will continue to have Trump on. It has nothing to do with his position on issues, etc. It has to do with RATINGS. This is not news, it’s business. But, much like Glen Beck, if he goes too far over the top even for FOX, they will dump him. But Trump is smarter than Beck, he will make sure he stays within allowable “offensive bounds” for cable TV. He is excellent at marketing himself. Loves the attention, and thrives on it (as do his licensing agreements). The TV gigs are lucrative too. Plays the game well.
Pity he won’t get the nomination, he stands no chance in the general. And frankly, he really does not want the job. He just loves the attention and press.
Agreed on the first part of his comment, “blood coming out of her eyes”. But he followed that with “blood coming out of her wherever”. I think after the first part, he thought impulsively it might be funny to bring up the “period” thing indirectly.
As to him “surviving”, I want him to get the nomination. He stands no chance, even Bernie would beat him if for some reason Hillary faltered. But Bernie won’t beat Jeb. Hillary will.

Hillary could beat Jeb! But not the way she has been going. She’s rusty. She needs a healthy primary to get back in campaign shape.
She is far too careful, like she has been waiting and waiting, and now that the time is here, she is terrified to mess it up. This comes across as calculating and inauthentic.
I think that her message and positions are decent enough, when she speaks from her heart, without over thinking things.
This is where Bernie blows her out of the water. Ask a question you get his thoughtful opinion. An opinion that is genuine, and in the main stream of the party.
If she can find that quality again, she will do well.

Yes, Bernie is a great debater for sure. Lots of energy, but at the same time does not lose his composure, he can’t be “baited” to talk foolish or get angry, very savvy. And part of that is as you say believing in what you are saying. Hillary talks “at” people, Bernie talks “to” them.
