Trump always gets extra enthusiastic when he discusses the death penalty.
He’s being Mr. Positive on his tweets so far today. It won’t last.
If China cracks down on this “horror drug,” using the Death Penalty for distributors and pushers, the results will be incredible!
Interrupting the thinning of the herd of deplorables in this nation? Hell, import more of the stuff.
Great…
Another War on Drugs, and we all know how those have turned out before…
He just loves to talk about killing people. And he can’t keep himself from lying. Total US deaths from opioid overdose were 72,000 in 2017, says CDC. Of which fentanyl and other synthetic opioids were a tough under 30K. Which are numbers that are horrific enough.
Other than Lyin’ Trumpski, who said anything about the death penalty? I’m pretty sure Xi didn’t mean every word DOTUS says.
Driftin’ along with the doddering doddering sack of greed.
Even the most ardent fan of the death penalty, pre-2016, could come up with a better adjective for it than “incredible”. Bad (and small) vocabulary.
Again, I wonder who is writing his Tweets these days because it certainly is not trump.
People die from military service, for which they willingly volunteered.
I fail to see how drug overdoses are any different. Here’s a novel idea: Don’t abuse drugs. Similarly, your chances of getting killed by a roadside IED are infinitely low if you don’t enlist.
Certainly know how to channel that sinister element of cowardly, vicarious sadism.
Last night on Brian Williams there were two reporters, Robert Costa & Phillip Rucker(?) drooling over Trump’s behavior this week, re Bush’s funeral. This following an NBC News tweet saying the same.
I’m guessing that none of them had access to his Twitter feed.
Isn’t fetanyl manufactured in the US as well?
Bill Shine.
Chinese fetanyl is preferred. They employ a slightly different slant during their production.
Except. Some serious fraction of of opioid addictions in the US arise as a result of opioid prescriptions. So you’re telling people not to get unlucky with their hard-to-treat pain. And fentanyl and the fentanyl analogs have an incredibly narrow therapeutic window (which is why you have constant monitoring of patients in OR). So it’s a little more as if you signed up for the reserves and then someone announced a new policy of planting claymores in the barracks.
They’ve drugged Spankee.
Wonder what they gave him.
He’s just so incredibly jealous that he cannot sit on a gaudy gilt throne and scream “off with their heads” like Kim Jong-Un and the Saudis.
It’s giving him an inferiority complex.
Thank you for this. It’s used for people who are experiencing really severe pain (as in something like Stage 3 cancer or AIDS) or people who can’t swallow pain medication pills and have to use a patch for the medication. I do understand the harm that the illegal prescriptions have done but OTOH, I also understand the absolute need to treat intractable pain issues.
It will now be considered a “controlled substance.”
I was under the distinct impression that it already was a controlled substance. What does he think he’s talking about?? In addition, since Mexico is also involved in the distribution of the drug, where do they fit into this story?
“It’s giving him an inferiority complex”…He has had one of those his whole life.
