Discussion: Trump Requests Audio, Video Evidence Of Journalist's Death 'If It Exists'

This tells me something significant. That trump is not being told what the NSA has from their world wide electronic eves dropping capabilities. It sounds to me that trump is informed on a “need to know” basis due to his inability to keep his yap shut.

How rich.

The CIA operative who supervised torture and then destroyed the American Torture Tapes was promoted to CIA Director.

Obama and Holder refused to prosecute any of the perpetrators of torture and war crimes from the Bush years.

The President of the United States maintains an extrajudicial “Kill List.”

So who are we to talk?

This is what happens when a country holds itself and its leaders above the law.

No democracy, no justice.

Why am I thinking of a real life version of “Fargo”?

That’s one possibility. Another is that since he’s motivated to exonerate the Saudis if at all possible, he’d interpret something like “to a high degree of confidence” as lack of certainty and keep repeating “if it exists” like a parrot, or he’d simply lie outright without a moment’s thought even if they’d played the damn tape for him. And this “if it exists” is like Kavanaugh’s “due process” red herring—it asks for proof that’s rarely available when there’s a huge circumstantial case for there being a serious problem. The Turks tell a pretty grim story about what happened, and they’re in a position to know. The man himself has disappeared. Murderers try not to leave a trail of conclusive evidence if they can help it.

That suggested to me that the Saudis have something on trump much like the Russians obviously do that demands he support them at all costs. Whatever it is must be really really ugly to get him to kiss their toes like this. He says they are gonna buy arms elsewhere (the $110 billion gambit) which is obvious bullshit since the Saudi Army runs on American arms and spare parts exclusively and Chinese or Russian parts don’t work on F-15’s or weapons. Also the US has no real need for Saudi oil. We are net exporters of oil and we have more natural gas than we know how to use or even store, which by the way is a horrible waste.
So I think the Saudi’s have kompromat on donnie like the Russians do.

So the “Party of Law and Order” is now asserting that a person is innocent unless there is direct audio and video evidence of their crime.

I’ll remember that if I’m ever called into jury duty and let the judge know.

Hard to imagine those little private chats Kushner has been having with them amounts to anything else. They bail him and the rest out with huge cash infusions—what do they care? They have incredible amounts of money—and the U.S. cooks its foreign policy up to suit them.

Nah, that’s not correct, They have a lot of Europeen stuff too. BAE was involved in a famous bribery scandal some years ago.

EDIT And BAE will still visit the “Davos in the desert” everybody else is abandoning. They probably also sells bonesaws.

[/quote]Yeah, I kinda doubt that one of the Saudi hit men videoed the murder on his phone to post on Facebook later.

“Trade cash for influence” doesn’t necessarily imply compromising information (except, arguably, the payments themselves). He could simply be for sale to the highest bidder.

The Turks are leaking stuff again and Pompeo’s meeting with them.

That’s what it looks like. The Trump family gets money, the Saudis get a foreign policy tailored to their wishes.

Trump will do nothing.

So Fat Nixon is STILL pretending he didn’t have advance knowledge, huh? Funny. Given the advance intel received by U.S. intelligence services, has anyone in the press bothered to ask Trump if his administration knew about or had warnings of the kidnapping/assassination in advance, just to get him on the record?

Not sure how they are going to spin that they didn’t mean to kill him when they were sawing off fingers.

Sawing off his fingers -a journalist. Trump is covering up this horrific crime.

Donald Trump is not exactly a detail-oriented dude. I do not think the casual disinterest with which he regards so many subjects is any kind of act.

That was my first thought. hahahaha
