Discussion: Trump Reminds Everyone That GOP Won House Races After Alabama Loss

Let’s see the recent exercises of the most important thing to the US President: DJT

Friday or Saturday he proclaims that he will get very involved in all the 2018 midterm elections - although his last several forays haven’t been successful. But in Trump’s ego driven world - Rallys! Adulation! That’s All I want to do!

Saturday or Sunday he somberly commented on Sen. McCain’s health - told us he spoke with Meghan - and - 'I know he will return if we need his vote - which don’t think we will, but if we do I know he will return." (From serious cancer treatment in Arizona.) - All about Donald - especially ā€œIf we need him need will come backā€ - a mimicking of a very tender moment on The View between Meghan McCain and Joe Biden per the close friendship between the Senators despite having been campaign rivals.

And now this - ignore the lost - start retouting the congressional wins - and his own - as a reminder of how well HE (and thus by extension) is doing well politically heading into 2018.

All is unmoored from reality and geared to boosting his ego. Pathetic Petulant Pompous President.

He’s 5-5 (.500)

The modern day GOP lost the special House race in Calif., the Virginia and NJ Governors races and he backed two ā€˜nags’ in the Alabama Senate race (Strange n Moore).

Not to mention a small cadre of nominees and some foreigners he backed and got blown out of the water on.

Also, the Alabama loss carries more weight. That wasn’t just some run of the mill election in a purple state.
That was Jeff Frigging Sessions seat in Redsville Alabama.
Possibly a two or even 3 to 1 impact.

Trounce does sell the positive always, even after face plants like this. Mostly because he loathes losers and he just took two plus big losses.
Multiple BK’s, Casino failures and divorces aren’t scratching the surface but losing is getting under his orange hued skin.

short answer time: that’s why there should be a temporary moritorium on ā€˜wins n losses’. I get that he wants to cheer lead n stuff, but whether its domestic or international, these examples are easy to find.
