I am sure there was also no mention of how many Kentuckians’s lives have been saved by the ACA.
He was so pathetic, going on and on about that beautiful day he got elected by an EC landslide.
You are a pathetic old man, a fat bald, stupid, lying old man.
Trump is rapidly turning into “that weird, crazy guy who sometimes lives in that big White House, says and tweets crazy shit, and the rest of the time goes to Florida, plays golf, and says and tweets more crazy shit.”
He’s being marginalized by his own party. He doesn’t matter. Yes, they will protect him as long as they need him, but if you think about it, unless he releases the nukes or declares martial law, he’s a rich, crazy uncle jetting between care homes. He’s crippling the Presidency for a long time. He’s living proof that the country can get by without a functioning president.
Also, oh, dear Lord.
Also, also, Ivanka’s moving into the West Wing.
Webster’s will re-do their entry for “Whistlin past the graveyard” with a picture of Trump on this momentous day. The caption will read “The first time in American history a sitting President was literally indicted by his own FBI and DOJ for treason”.
Whatta great day for real Americans!
Remember how long it took Christie’s numbers to slide?
Drumpf will eclipse him in short order.
He is so sad, so pathetic … there is not one iota of dignity in him.
John Dean is on Chris Hayes, talkng about how every thing coming from Trump and Co. signals “coverup”
They are all toast.
If there is one thing I took from Comey who has nearly unflappable FBI demeanor, it is that he isn’t a friend to the GOP. He practically growled at them a couple of times.
I am for the first time believing the IC person who said he was going to die in jail when the IC got through with him.
Watching tv and tweeting by day and a campaign rally at night.
Does he ever do any actual work? If he was in high school, he’d be well on his way to dropping out.
OT: The magic asterisk strikes again. Ryan amendment suggests $75 billion in tax credits for Americans age 50-64, but the House won’t actually figure out the details – that’s on the Senate. Legislating by a g-ddamn post-it note, I tells ya!
And he reminisces about his campaign like it happened forty years ago. It’s been just four months! There oughta be a law about premature nostalgia.
Yeah, I agree. There were a couple of moments ( I think one was with Gowdy) where his reply was fairly sarcastic. And Comey strikes me as a pretty buttoned up, careful guy.
You know the reason for the campaign rally? To keep his exceedingly tenuous hold on reality, which is his ego, from coming apart.
There is going to come a day or night really soon when nothing is going to keep him in one piece.
He’s got nothing.
“Time wounds all heels.” – Groucho
Trump’s monstrous ego always needs an “adoring fan” fix when things go sour.
Sadly, he still has adoring fans.
I haven’t been around the FBI in years but every agent I ever was around has almost the same demeanor that Comey has in spades. It’s always a kind of silence ripe with meaning so that they never seem altogether trustworthy - I don’t know what it is about that bureau, but to say he’s careful is putting it mildly. This is so big he definitely doesn’t want to blow it.
Let’s put it this way - he has people who show up at the rallies, but I think they gather those crowds any way they can to keep him right side up.
He already blew it. Now he’s trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube.
A terrible day in Trumpistan topped off by a pathetic rally to get the ego-boosting thrill of a cheering crowd. I don’t want him impeached so much as I want him and a bunch of people around him to be indicted. And then resign in disgrace. And then Democrats mercilessly attack the Republicans in Congress (and Pence, if he’s still around) for trying to protect a Russian puppet, violating their oath to the Constitution and duty to the American people.
