But seriously folks you see this in failing businesses all the time. The business is failing because it’s run by numskulls, so they’re flailing around and finally they hire a consultant and everybody loves the consultant, the consultant’s going to fix everything. This lasts for about a week or ten days, by which time the numskulls aren’t happy because things aren’t suddenly perfect, so the consultant is shown the door and eventually a new consultant is hailed as the messiah and the cycle begins again.
