chuck, I thought the same thing about the election. I thought Americans would reject this asshole on principle. I was sorely mistaken. The republican voter stands in solidarity with their party, and echoes that the “lamestream media” is full of it. I truly hope you are right, my friend. Sadly, I do not share in your optimism.
Trump says CNN is fake news and not to be trusted. Can we presume this also means he’ll bar anyone working for him from appearing on any CNN programming?

Should he not have simply yelled his question out, so at least people would hear what Trump refused to answer ( he said the first few words over a few times) Instead all anyone knows is that the answer to “can I ask a question” is no. If the question is a good one then the person at he podium (or running to the helicopter) looks like an ass.

Authoritarian move. Punish a news organization if you don’t like what they report. This is a slippery slope and going straight to the ditch.

I’d love to see CNN pivot from Beltway-Access-Conventional Wisdom Journalism to truly in-your-face adversarial stance. If they conclude that they are on the outside looking in, what have they got to lose? Surrender, and get some snarl (and ratings) in your game. Of course, with Trump-Fellator Jeff Zucker running CNN, that won’t happen.
