Discussion: Trump Refuses To Back Down From McCain Comments

rotfl
Inevitable Trump reply (*versions may vary): “Let’s face it! They’re all losers. They’re failed politicians and I’m a winner and I’m in 1st place. I’m an amazing person and one of the most successful people who ever lived… and they’re basically failures…Dat’s the real reason they’re attacking me. The Mexicans love me; the vets love me; and I’m successful…I’m YOOOOOOOGE’ and they’re small and petty and afraid to speak the truth. They’re a bunch of whining politicians. They know they’re losers and so whatta’ ya’ expect?”

Go Donald! Don’t you let them criticize you! You show those GOP loser clowns what a winner is and give them the tongue lashing they deserve!

(*BTW: Trump is absolutely exceeding my expectations and I just fervently hope he doesn’t flame out too soon!)

Of course had ANY of the republicans won those elections against “project managert” Obama, there’s a good chance we’d have a few hundred thousand troops over in the middle east shooting at anything in a turban while the sick and the elderly died in the streets here in America, but go ahead, vote for the Republican guy.

I think you’re right on the button! I would not be surprised to see the GOP do a 1912 type split over this.

I never go to those places, but I’m not sure that internet comments are a true indicator of general support for a candidate—if you visit DK these days, you’d get the impression that Sanders is going to swat away HRC like a gnat and waltz into the White House.

I don’t believe he will flame out. He’s fired up the GOP base to the point that he has a 50/50 shot of getting nominated! After that first debate in 2 weeks, that will go to 60/40!

OMAHHUMMER Ya Maybe Nader can run again …so you can get your Republican pres elected like in 2000 . That worked out well .

Since credit ratings are used for everything from loan interest to auto insurance rates and hiring evaluations… I would like to know the credit ratings of every candidate (especially Trump) in order to make a more informed selection in elections.

I want to see him and Christie get into a fist fight on stage…with lil’ Rand Paul running for the curtains, crying with his tiny fists at his side.

Not sure I’ve come across a more hilarious example of ideological incoherence—if not incontinence—in all my time at TPM.

And this is the music they should be playing during the Republican Debate!

I don’t know who he’d pick…Larry, Moe and Curly are all dead.

And coordinated.

“Just wait for that first GOP debate when Trump tears apart everyone on that stage. The crowd will go wild and cheer him like he was Elvis reincarnated!”
Oh man - I cannot wait . Trump is going to give the debates higher ratings than Superbowl. Fox will be ecstatic with the advertising rates they get (which it what is all about anyway) The underbelly of the Republican will be exposed for all to see.

Don’t forget the ‘ratf*cking’ by Nixon’s crewe. The Canuck letter aimed at Muskie comes to mind.

Just imagine Trump packing the court with James Woods, Nick Searcy, Clint Eastwood and Gary Sinise…

Too bad, because they’d be better than Scalia, Thomas and Alito

Been consistent haven’t they? Same evil shit with social media

Can’t add to this other than to

(a) Second it
(b) Pray that this person’s thinking is found in VERY MINUTE AMOUNTS in the electorate

This picture from The Republicans’ id’s campaign site says it all. His marketing people actually let it go to press:
