The Department of Health and Human Services says Scott Lloyd will move to a new role at the Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiatives.

Doubtless he'll be tasked with oppressing the LGBT community, among his other duties. In TrumpAmerica it's what Jesus would do.

“Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiatives”

Sounds like a marketing seminar group for selling religious baubles to the rubes.

So is anyone taking the job he has left vacant, or are they just not going to bother overseeing any of those camps?

Try getting elected in the US saying you don’t believe in the Invisible Man in the Sky.

What could be more fun than scaring kids for life? Aren’t the brown the existential threat to all red blooded Americans?

So did this one finally become available to control the refugees?

Prosperity Gospel doesn’t sell itself.

In a stroke of genius, the administration will ship all internees to California to begin raking the forests. A win win as Don, Jr. would say.

Trying to keep track of the revolving door of corrupt, ethically-bankrupt members of Team Trump is akin to a game of whack-a-mole.

Remember a story (60 Minutes?) from the late 1980s/early 1990s. Grifters, touring the plains states, selling the idea of creating fake bank warrants under some Sovereign Citizen BS. Desperate farmers, in hock to their ears, were a willing audience. They could, in theory, if they followed these grifting goobers’ advice, create some of these in gigantic amounts ($250,000 sticks in my mind), show up at some gullible plains states bank, and cash them. Surprisingly, amazingly, a couple of banks did just that.

The kicker was, of course, that the $300 or $400 fee that these guys charged for “teaching” how this worked were paid for in good, old-fashioned US currency. No fake bank warrants for them, oh no. Because, like the Prosperity Gospel, the Sovereign Citizens bank warrant scheme wouldn’t sell itself, either: It had to be bought.

Dog will provide, but we better offer some initiatives, just in case.

This job was like really hard and like no one understood him. And these kids don’t even speak English so what could he do?
in his new position, he will pray for the refugees all to be gone – or for them to be located somewhere the press and civil rights organizations can’t get to them.
I doubt that any of the Opportunities in his new role will go to immigrants. Unless, of course, they are a certain type of Immigrant. You know, ones from Finland where they have experience raking forests. Or Sweden, where they are tall and blond.

So this is the guy who oversaw the separation of children from their parents and shipping little kids all over the country and losing track of them This director of de-facto concentration camps is now going to lead a “Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiatives?”
