“Never a big fan!”
I imagine McGahn considers that statement a badge of honor.
IOW, according to his tweet, he was going to fire Mueller but his minion(s) wouldn’t do it.
Emm, someone’s getting nervous and cannot think straight.
“I was NOT going to fire Bob Mueller, and did not fire Bob Mueller. In fact, he was allowed to finish his Report with unprecedented help from the Trump Administration. Actually, lawyer Don McGahn had a much better chance of being fired than Mueller. Never a big fan!”
Even in short statements, Trump cannot hold a single coherent thought. He wasn’t going to fire Bob Mueller (because he was trying to have other people do so for him), and he did not allow Mueller to finish his report without interference. It continued only because he was not able to find a way to stop it earlier. Instead, he succeeded in limiting its scope sufficient that it remained well away from his most vulnerable secrets. Then he got his henchman to try to claim the report said something quite different from what it actually said, and is still fighting on all fronts to avoid having any shred of information it contains being released for independent evaluation. What he is doing is so obvious that only his supporters cannot see it.
“The Apprentice.” White House. Season 3.
rave: transitive verb : to utter in madness or frenzy
Yup, that’s Donnie!
Has the Tweeter Twit ever fired anyone to their face?
OT Toadglans has now nicknamed South Bend, IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg after MAD magazine icon Alfred E. Nueman.
Funny thing about that … Trumputin has been featured many times in MAD and now his twitter feed is full of the images.
He’s even made the cover a few times!
“It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit
I presume that even Ivana and Marla technically fired him.
Do you mean Brokeahontas?

Does McGahn not have a scintilla of a spine? Any other form of vertebrate would camp outside every committee’s hearing room begging to tell their story.
The Don knows what Don knows.
Trump’s “Art Of The Deal” business acumen has been exposed as a fantasy. It turns out his book should have been about his true skill, “How To Lose Friends And Influence Idiots.”
Trump is really doing everything he can to encourage McGahn to testify before Congress and get McGahn to reveal everything he knows. Trump’s behavior is so utterly and increasingly self-destructive it’s hard to imagine this lasting much past summer.
Regarding “The Art of the Deal.” The other day its actual author, Tony Schwartz, said that he would be perfectly happy if Random House pulled the book from circulation or, barring that, at least reclassified it as fiction.
Why are all these White House hires that have since departed being so mean to poor Donald? Who is the idiot that hired these people? That dude should be fired pronto!
Biggest Loser sez what?
And Charles Leerhsen, the ghostwriter of another of Trump’s supposed books says, from his own first hand observation, that Trump was lousy at business: Exclusive: Trump, the billion-dollar loser — I was his ghostwriter and saw it happen
“Cuz firing people, it’s my thing. ‘You’re fired’ is my superhero catch phase; didn’t you ever watch The Apprentice? Just because, in real life, I don’t have the guts to do it myself and instead I always try to make my ‘best people’ fire my ‘formerly best people’ that doesn’t mean it happened in this particular case.”
