Well, nobody could have foreseen that.
There is a SCOTUS decision that prevents the so-called “commission” from forcing the states to comply with its demands.
The whole thing is a brazen and blatant attempt to suppress the vote nationally—and the Trumpanzees aren’t going to get away with it.
I’m TOTALLY sure republicans would have been calm and not at all hyperventilating basket cases if the Obama administration wanted to collect the SSNs and voting history of every US voter.

Most states will provide public information, but are having nothing to do with the massive privacy invasion this Election Commission is demanding. When the Mississippi SOS tells Kobach to take a flying leap then you know it is bullshit.
