New Year? Same shitheadâŚ
Curious that Donald Trump thinks the news media needs him to survive. Sure, heâs justified a flood of articles about his unconventional presidency, but itâs easy to predict that without him, the media will concentrate on the huge challenges that his successor will face in unifying the nation, restoring international credibility, and basically cleaning up the mess that heâs producing. I see a windfall for the media when Donald Trump gets replaced. The media consuming public will be hugely curious about the changes that we face.
When is the last time that Donnie Two Scoops had an original thought? Sometime in 1953?
Trump doesnât know the history of the paper, eitherâbig surprise.
Adolph Ochs didnât found the New York Times.
He bought it.
The Times was founded in 1851.
Ochs bought it in 1896. He was the publisher of the Chattanooga Times, and paid $75,000 for the NYT.
The Ochs-Sulzberger family still controls the paper, despite it being a publicly-traded company.
Damn. §resident just loves that âtreat me fairlyâ dog whistle. Red meat to his base and muddies the âfake newsâ waters.
I agree with @maximus, same old, same old. Also, the corruption in this administration continues.
â[w]ithout me, the New York Times will indeed be not the failing New York Times, but the failed New York Times.â
The Times didnât exist before him? Thatâs interesting. I had no idea that it started when Trump came down that escalator in 2015!
The failing president keeps accusing the media of failure. Itâs all fake news. But the majority of fake news, lies, exaggerations , etc. come from the White House. Grow up Mr. Trump.
Irrelevant. Trump, his acolytes and enablers live in their own galaxy far, far away that is ruled by the law of alternative facts.
It I were the new publisher, Iâd cover my first front page with the First Amendment. Not that Donnie would ever understand it.
Not sure how I made it through one year. Three more years of this.
Given the NYT treatment of Trump, I canât decide if this is kabuki or Trump bullying b/c the response of so many news organizations (especially the NYT) to Trumpâs bullying has been subservience.
Trump Rags On His Favorite Paper
I would prefer âŚ
donnie spews from his ' whatever '
Anyone have any gossip on the new Sulzberger? Think weâre looking at âsteady as she goesâ or ânew sheriff in town?â
Trump, the attention whore, is having a good time: staying in the limelight, Indulging his dark pleasures of dominance and insult, throwing chaff into the wind to distract from the looting and incompetence.
The only thorn in his side is Russia and Mueller. Little doubt he will try to remove that thorn this year.
And 45 reads a âfailing newspaperâ WHY?
No kidding!!
Will you be in Santa Ana on the 20th for the local march?
