Discussion: Trump Proclaims: 'There Is No Longer A Nuclear Threat From North Korea'

The scary thing is that at least 45% of the country believes the febrile orange dotard…

No longer a Nuclear threat.

Was there ever a viable threat to begin with?

You don’t want to find out the answer in the form of mushroom clouds, but it takes quite a bit of resources to develop nuclear weapons, resources that an impoverished nation like North Korea just doesn’t have.

All Kim had to do was present the appearance of a threat, and he had Trump eating out of his hand.

If he means giving Kim Jong Un everything he wants is making us safer, mission accomplished. For now.

Maybe toadies or stooges would get the point across to the lickspittle SOBs?

Well, technically if we are referring to right now he is correct. DPRK has not yet perfected a re-entry vehicle, so we are safe from a nuclear attack in that they cannot explode a device launched by an ICBM. Of course South Korea can be hit with artillery and our ports could be hit by a shipping container nuke, and nothing that Kim has said or done changes that.

Seems the Russians (read Soviets) have an ample supply, just sayin’

Seeing as the American military was ever so slightly taken aback by the announcement that “war games” would end, I’m curious to know how the regime will take it when they don’t. Whose fault will it be?

So all of their existing weapons have been verifiably destroyed? All facilities that worked toward the creation of said weapons have been decommissioned? All in a matter of days? Truly he is the Kwisatz Haderach!

I hope someday soon Robert Mueller will be able to explain what is really going on.

I think this comment by trump is as irresponsible as it gets… Does anyone remember their history? Chamberlain saying of Hitler “Peace in our time.” and waving a piece of paper both had signed. Though trump did try… so there’s that.

“Trump declares North Korea ‘no longer a nuclear
threat’”

OK, on to the next boondoggle…

Would the Russians be that stupid?

All Kim needed to do was present the appearance of a threat, I can see the Soviets helping him out in that regard. But if the Russians/Soviets were to provide viable nuclear assistance. to a nation with which we technically are at war with. Then that would be a belligerent act of war. Anyone who assists the Soviets /Putin could rightfully be called a traitor.

The trumpet-call had let loose an enormous volume of noise. Already an excited voice was gabbling from the telescreen, but even as it started it was almost drowned by a roar of cheering from outside. The news had run round the streets like magic. He could hear just enough of what was issuing from the telescreen to realize that it had all happened, as he had foreseen; a vast seaborne armada had secretly assembled a sudden blow in the enemy’s rear, the white arrow tearing across the tail of the black. Fragments of triumphant phrases pushed themselves through the din: ‘Vast strategic manoeuvre – perfect co-ordination – utter rout – half a million prisoners – complete demoralization – control of the whole of Africa – bring the war within measurable distance of its end victory – greatest victory in human history – victory, victory, victory!’

Under the table Winston’s feet made convulsive movements. He had not stirred from his seat, but in his mind he was running, swiftly running, he was with the crowds outside, cheering himself deaf. He looked up again at the portrait of Big Brother. The colossus that bestrode the world! The rock against which the hordes of Asia dashed themselves in vain! He thought how ten minutes ago – yes, only ten minutes – there had still been equivocation in his heart as he wondered whether the news from the front would be of victory or defeat. Ah, it was more than a Eurasian army that had perished! Much had changed in him since that first day in the Ministry of Love, but the final, indispensable, healing change had never happened, until this moment.

The voice from the telescreen was still pouring forth its tale of prisoners and booty and slaughter, but the shouting outside had died down a little. The waiters were turning back to their work. One of them approached with the gin bottle. Winston, sitting in a blissful dream, paid no attention as his glass was filled up. He was not running or cheering any longer. He was back in the Ministry of Love, with everything forgiven, his soul white as snow. He was in the public dock, confessing everything, implicating everybody. He was walking down the white-tiled corridor, with the feeling of walking in sunlight, and an armed guard at his back. The longhoped-for bullet was entering his brain.

He gazed up at the enormous face. Forty years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.

Praise tRump!

Yep. Been saying that frequently. And how much more public evidence is needed before Congress sees trump as Benedict Arnold?

So in what way is the agreement that Trump signed with Kim … a “comprehensive” one-page document laden with vague promises about denuclearization within North Korea with no specifics, no timetables, no details on verification procedures … even remotely superior to the one negotiated with Iran by Obama – the deal that Trump blasted as so weak that he has decided to renege on it?

Simple – the latter was signed by Obama (that pathetic loser who should never have been elected), whereas the NK Summit document was signed by Trump (the greatest leader in the history of Western civilization).

This conclusion is brought to us courtesy of the delusional, deranged psyche of Donnie T.

Awesome! I also hear there are no more foreigners standing on my lawn hoping to get in, no man-made climate change, and no more voting fraud. However, there is plenty of real concern about the untold truth of Benghazi.
