Discussion: Trump Plays Down Mexico Conflict: Prez and I Have ‘A Very Good Relationship’

i probably would have been inclined to place the stick in an orifice, not gently either

“You keep using this word ‘good’; I do not think this word means what you think it means.” He is purely delusional, at this point he thinks he’s doing a great job, he’s the smartest man in the room…please get this fellow (and the country!) some professional help.

With alternate facts and all, I think I’ll wait to hear Peña-Nieto’s version of the phone call.

With Donnie, even if they were both speaking in English, there’s still a problem with translation.

Hmmm - I’d like to see the impact on the economy of Texas before I’m convinced California will suffer most.

Our border area is a huge part of our economy. Just ask the GOP Congressman whose district includes the Valley and most of the Big Bend and spoke out against the stupid wall.

"Trump was responding to a reporter who asked if Trump had “soured” the U.S. relationship with Mexico…"

My little souvenir from my November trip to Mexico City, a Halloween poster that showed just how they feel about Donnie. No “sour” feelings there at all. And Nieto was on thin ice as well for even allowing Donnie to visit. All good, no worries.

My comment was specifically aimed at the notion that Mexico could retaliate by ignoring copyright law. Texas doesn’t produce much that’s worth copying.

Yeah I realize that you have Silicon Valley.

That’s easy to say, but Trump is incapable of acting like that. You have to remember, he’s fucking nuts.

Hollywood too. Both industries that the alt-right couldn’t care less about.

O they’d love to own Hollywood and make it produce what they want to see.

I should have read the thread around your comment more carefully because yes, I didn’t realize you were being specific to copyright

I’m not sure Texas doesn’t produce a lot of copyright worthy material however. A lot of music comes out of this state. Among other things.

That’s because you are drawing on facts and an understanding of the elements that constitute a “good relationship.”

Trumpp relies on deeply held principles, namely: that anything Trumpp does is good, at the very least; and that anything Trumpp does is the greatest ever, in most cases.

I wonder what the bad ones are going to look like.

I have already posted that Mexico is free to join the Pacific rim trade agreement negotiated by China… Mexico could sell their goods to those countries and do very well indeed.

He literally started his day Tweet-slamming Mexico. The first sentence of the tweet was “Mexico has taken advantage of the U.S. for long enough.”

It actually happened. Saw it with my own eyes.
