I know this is eastern Washington, but any chance that Joe Pakootas, the Dem that ran against McMorris-Rodgers, could win this seat? Will the DNC make it an early test case on Trumpism, the way that the Republicans did with the special election for the Massachusetts Senate seat when Ted Kennedy died and Scott Brown won with a ton of outside money mostly focused on slowing down Obamacare.

McMorris-Rogers is a perfect pick for Interior if one of Trump’s goals is to allow oil and gas to be taken from reservations.
On a different topic, I wonder how the seniors on Medicare and Social Security (especially the Trump voters) are feeling right now as the GOP moves to massively cut both programs, and Trump has indicated he is willing to sign off on those cuts.

I’m guessing FOX Entertainment isn’t even announcing the GOP’s plans for SS and MCare – or that HO has said he’s willing to do exactly what he said he wouldn’t. Since they won’t watch or listen to much anything else, they don’t know what’s going on in the world … nothing new there.
