Trump makes a specific concession for an unspecific intention. Weak, weak, weak negotiator. Donnie gets rolled again. Ho hum… Is this infrastructure week?

I wonder how many more trademarks rhyming with ‘Dump’ got granted to sweeten the deal?

Trump is the weakest President in history…he caves to the Chinese and gets nothing in return! Must mean that the dotard got a gold watch or maybe a golden shower from the Chinese. Trump…the pig is going to prison!

(Not my own, stole it from a FT comment).

Just so much 60 Hz hum. Let me know when they actually buy anything that they weren’t already planning to buy anyway. Or when North Korea actually dismantles so much as a single nuke.

Xi must’ve promised Toadglans a companion trademark on funereal urns to go with the already granted trademark on branded caskets. In exchange, China will get a bunch of discounted American products along with a commitment the US government will only buy smartphones from Chinese maker Huawei Technologies Co.

Winning.

Trump committed to a 90 day delay on his threat to increase tariffs to 25% from 10%, while China didn’t give up a thing.

Trump also expressed his friendship and respect for North Korea’s Kim.

Trump is soooooooo played…

It was also agreed that great progress has been made with respect to North Korea and that President Trump, together with President Xi, will strive, along with Chairman Kim Jong Un, to see a nuclear free Korean Peninsula.

SO… does this mean Trump is agreeing to pull nuclear weapons from South Korea?

So, in other words…we got nothing. Sooooo much winning.
… China’s decision to label the drug as a controlled substance means that
“people selling Fentanyl to the United States will be subject to China’s
maximum penalty under the law.”
Only if the Chinese government chooses to enforce that law. They might find it advantageous to keep tens of thousands of USians per year dying, and to sustain US chaos and lack of confidence in authorities.

If we’re lucky, this will be no more than a PR stunt. Otherwise, the chump Trump will appear again.

I always get the feeling that I’m never getting the full story from AP, but only what they jot down from “goverment officials/sources.”

Almost sounds like the ‘good old opium’ days, with China taking the role of the Brits and USA the role of China…

But really, I doubt that. It smacks of 'Yellow Peril" fear mongering

Another great deal that isn’t actually a deal! And now he is talking about pulling out of NAFTA to force Congress to pass the USMCA.
This guy has got to go.

No problem, his voters don’t read Chinese and don’t trust the real press. Will be interesting to see what Fox News (not the entertainment part) will say.
