The problem isn’t really Donald Trump. The problem is that millions of our fellow citizens ardently believe it would be a good thing to put him in the White House.

Given that the military can’t account for $6.5 TRILLION it only makes sense to give them additional BILLIONS.

More graft for the grifters.

Trump has a plan to defeat ISIS, believe me. And he knows more than the generals.

His plan is to call the generals into the Oval Office and demand they come up with a plan to defeat ISIS.

The tonight thing is on MSNBC, the Flynn thing was Tuesday afternoon.
I propose naming Trump’s first off the books boondoggle, a mega-gigantic gold-plated Yutz-class destroyer, the USS Trump.

According to Trump, those NATO countries “will be happy to do it.” Germany, Japan, South Korea and the other countries that have U.S. military protection will “willfully understand” that they should pay more because they are “economic behemoths,” Trump predicted.

…

sigh

“at least he is using ‘carrots’ this time.”

OK, time to add up all Trump’s promises: Large defense expansion, Trillion dollar infrastructure, repeal Obamacare, building a wall, massive tax cuts. All adds up to exploding deficits and huge debt. Pound that.

Donald Trump laid out a national security plan that would dramatically increase defense spending and troop levels during a Wednesday address at the Union League of Philadelphia.

Unless you’re willing to spend money on the military that is represented by a larger number than the human mind can comprehend, you’re weak on defense.

Trump fired many of the insults Clinton has used against him in regards to foreign policy—“unfit,” “unstable,” “unqualified”—back at her. “She’s trigger happy and very unstable,” he said.

"The real estate mogul, who has frequently criticized the expense of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars on the campaign trail, then pledged to eliminate the sequester on defense spending. Under his leadership, Trump said, the U.S. military would have an active army of about 540,000 people, a 36-batallion Marine Corps, larger Navy and Air Force fleets, a “state-of-the-art” missile defense system and greater funding for the Defense Department’s “cyber capabilities.”

He was specific on the exact number of troops and aircraft carriers needed to protect the United States, but less clear on how these muscular security measures would be funded."

Or the actual timeframe involved to build an aircraft carrier…

It’s not just calling “Carriers-R-US” and picking one off the shelf.

He also promised everyone a pony, a chicken in every pot, and free Buick Electras in every driveway – and it’d all be paid by lower taxes and Mexico.
