Generally about this press conference I’ll repeat what Bandy Lee said recently about people getting more predictable as their pathology worsens and how we can see that happening with Trump. A healthier person might respond to a stimulus in a variety of ways, but as you get sicker, the disease increasingly dictates the same maladaptive response.

I actually think this would have been the smart strategy for Kavanaugh from the beginning. Admit that he had a serious drinking problem but has beaten it. Be honest about it and humble. The pretend angelic shtick lacks both credibility and appeal.
