When ‘vote your conscience’ becomes a rallying cry for the Trumpettes to storm the stage, the GOP/RNC is truly doomed. You big ol’ sucks should maybe rethink your ‘strategy’…
Please, Clinton campaign, don’t fail us now. I hope you all got this shit covered…
I commented on this somewhere else, but the GOP convention was not positive for Republicans. Polls showed that women, by a 3-to-1 ratio, called the convention a disaster, and 55% of young voters used the same adjective. Trump can rationalize the events any way he wants - those are damning numbers.
I read an article today that compared Trump supporters to a cult. The writer may have been on to something. I suggest that the Democratic campaign read up on how to deprogram his followers.
Now I know he’s messing with us. Trumpkins would have loved to see that.
I am setting up a Go Fund Me Account to provide free ammo for the GOP circular firing squad.
Please donate today.
Can’t they just adapt the GOP gay conversion program?
We all know how well that works.
“I walked in and the arena went crazy,” Trump said, as flagged by Politico. “Because there’s great unity in the Republican Party, and people don’t know it. Had I not walked in, I think that audience would have ripped him off the stage. I think I did him a big favor.”
That fucker would love to be Nero at the Coliseum
“Ripped him off the stage,” huh? You should know, Donzy. You’re a master at ripping people off.
Trump: “There’s great unity in the Republican Party.”
There’s about as much unity in the Republican Party as there was in the Donner Party.
But the Donner Party had free food…
Those that are horrified are asking “How do we unwatch that?” The answer is “We can’t. We take it to our graves.”

@yail_bloor It’s generally accepted that the candidate’s spouse is off limits, but with trump, his egomania and ignorance has no bounds because there’s nothing he likes more than hanging to a grudge. Cruz’s wife had to be escorted out of the hall because she was so fearful of the scene around her, people jeering and yelling “Goldman Sachs!”
Actually, the brave policemen and policewomen of Cleveland would have kept order. Although it is an open question whether Trump’s supporters would have respected their legal authority, or in their nihilism
made that impossible.
Sad that Trump did not trust the Police to do their job.
None of the way he explains this makes any sense or matches Trump’s personality on how he handles any kind of perceived slight. No way, no how would Trump have let Cruz on that stage if he knew what was in that speech.
His lies are even lazy but by and large the people interviewing him seem to let it pass. If you saw him on MTP this morning, it seemed like Chuck Todd started out trying to push back on him and after a while just gave up and let Trump say whatever he wanted, unchecked.
Well, we all know what happened to Nero in the end.
Imagine if Trump ran as a Democrat:
Fox: “You know his wife’s an immigrant?”
Giuliani: “Is Barron an anchor baby?”
Priebus: “Do we want a foreigner in the White House?”
Palin: “Isn’t she Russian or something?”
Limbaugh: “Will a commie be sleeping with the Commander-in-Chief?”
Hannity: “Will she be privy to national security secrets?”
Network News Anchors: “Tonight, lingering questions remain about the Democratic nominee’s wife…”
Suicide?
I can’t imagine Trump doing that; it would mess up his hair.
He was incapable of committing suicide so he made one of his aides kill him instead. In modern day equivalent, were talking making Manafort do it.
ETA: would we call what’s on top of his head, hair?
