On a side note, I think the “impressive” candidate Kristol is babbling about is probably Libertarian Gary Johnson.

Kristol is blowing smoke on this one I believe; he is eventually going to come out and say he meant Johnson and the Libertarian ticket. Its a logistical question now, and the logistics are so strongly against any new 3rd party challenge, that is laughable to even suggest it anymore.
And Trump is correct in that part of his analysis…nobody is going to run a pure spoiler race that has zero chance of winning, or even making much of a dent, but 100% chance of receiving blame when the GOP loses. Its political suicide at this point.
But, its worth noting that we are now entering/are in…the manic period of Trump’s monthly cycle. He is teeing up and going off at any and everybody right now, so going after Kristol is entirely predictable. By the end of this week, early next week, it will be “low energy” depressed Trump for about 3-5 days, and then “normal” bombastic buffoon Trump for a few weeks…then repeat the cycle.
Insulting people is about the only time Trump says anything close to honest. It’s the thing he’s best at, finding the weak spots that polite people at least won’t say in public and shouting nastily about them.

One more thing to dislike Kristol for: making me agree with Trump about something.
Been there and done that many times. Mrs darr has a machine that copies, sends faxes and all sorts of stuff I don’t understand. BUT I do know how to switch out the ink containers.
Trump is repeating what some observant person told him. I doubt he’s thinking for himself on this.
