And there’s this weird tweet from 2012 wherein Donnie claims Aretha is his “friend”.

The wrong person died.

She only worked once. Why? He didn’t pay her!

Awkward, inappropriate, and, once again, self-centered. It’s not about you, Donnie DumbShit!

Someone in the press office must have gotten that out before he could add something horrible.

Well, I think saying “She worked for me” is pretty horrible. It’s a demeaning comment about Aretha Franklin’s stature, which is SO much more impressive than DT’s.

Get her name out of your mouth, asshole. You are not worthy to talk about her.

I look forward to former President Obama’s eulogy. It will make me proud to be an American.

I dunno. Offering ‘warmest wishes’ to someone who’s dead seems pretty horrible (or maybe horribly inappropriate) to me.

It is not clear what he meant by that statement

Everpinned tweet.

I’ve been on this earth for a long time, and my Irish father was a councilman who paid his respects at many funerals, and he often took me along to the visitations. I have NEVER heard anyone give verbal best wishes to a deceased person.

“My Aretha died, sending best warmest wishes.”

Absolutely. Being black Americans isn’t the important quality which Aretha Franklin and President Obama shared. It is, rather, their genuine humanity which makes them revered. Despite Trump’s and the GOP’s efforts to tear down Obama’s legacy, I think history will serve him well. When future generations look at Souza’s photos of the man and president, they will know that he was the real deal.

Ironically, for once, “thoughts and prayers” would be totally appropriate, but he can’t even manage Republican rote.

Trump later issued a written statement.

With a letter “C” hand marked at the top.

Every time she sang, we were all graced with a glimpse of the divine.
Through her compositions and unmatched musicianship, Aretha helped
define the American experience. In her voice, we could feel our history,
all of it and in every shade—our power and our pain, our darkness and
our light, our quest for redemption and our hard-won respect. She helped
us feel more connected to each other, more hopeful, more human. And
sometimes she helped us just forget about everything else and dance.

-The Obamas. Who have souls.

It probably means he has an NDA signed by her somewhere in his files.

She worked for him, huh?

So,I guess - in his mind at least - this shows he was busy creating jobs for African-Americans even before becoming president. And this proves he’s not a racist. What a guy.
